And yet, the "rumors" are saying that the #32 pick isn't enough..

Personally, I think BB is doing Peyton a solid by letting them use the Pats name and throwing around the 32nd pick. Kind of an FU to the rest of the league that has screwed the Pats since 2008..

I understand the rumors and from the Saints perspective it all makes sense. Doesn't change my view on it that I only make the trade if they send us a 3rd back.

I honestly don't think the gap in terms of players between #32 and #76 is that large.
If that's too steep for them for a player they obviously want to get rid off then let them sit on it or find someone else who will pay more. Is it realistic ? Who knows, but we are under no pressure to make that trade.

The only reason I think there is more to the story than just a favor to our brothers in NOLA is because of how much BB liked Cooks in the joint practices. We have a lot of history of BB trying to get players that impress him as opponents.

I was never interested in Jackson anyway, TBH.

My problem with Woods is that he can't stay healthy. He's missed time every year for injury..

Is it really that bad ? All I have seen since 2013 are two ankle injuries and one issue with his knee last year. Am I missing something ?

The only thing BB loves more than players who tore his team up during games is players who tore his team up during joint practices.

Marshall stays in NY...but in blue this time around.

If it weren't for the price tag, age, I would love to have DJax on the team. He'd be an excellent fit here.

I don't know how high the pats would go for jackson. He want's 11 mil. Maybe the pats would give him 7 mil

Beckham, Marshall, Shepherd look really good on paper.

Giants need to go heavy OL in the draft now.

That'll be a tough test for the secondaries of the NFC East.

Contrary to a report, the Dallas Cowboys are not pursuing free agent wide receiver and longtime NFC East rival DeSean Jackson.

Clarence Hill Jr. for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram referred to story as “misinformation,” adding the Cowboys have expressed no interest in Jackson, as in zero. Hill adds that Jackson is likely out of the club’s price range.

That would make sense. Even after restructuring Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee’s contract earlier Tuesday, Dallas has only about $9 million in space under the NFL salary cap in which to work. Considering Jackson is believed to be seeking upwards of $10 million on the market, and multiple suitors are believed to be lining up to pay him, a deal seems unlikely.

Report shoots down rumor of Cowboys' interest in 3-time Pro Bowler

I will be surprise if Jackson get's no more than a 3 year deal. He's gonna be 31 and he's mostly a speed guy. Sooner or later that he will be gone.

Could the bungles be a team that could go after him?

Oh my god... Beckham and Marshall on the same team? With a moustache for a coach? I'm sure that will go REALLY well for them...

And Shepard...not enough balls to go around. No clear RB, no TE and an Eli that's aging. That's gonna be something to watch.

They have invested so much into offensive weapons for Eli, built a great defense around him and he still regularly misses the playoffs and doesn't even put up top tier stats lol

OBJ
Sterling Shepard
Brandon Marshall

That's a pretty insane receiving core... then add in Vereen...

Jeez

That's still way too much, even at a discount.

We paid amendola 6 million per year and you think 7 million per year for a WR as talanted as Jackson is too much?

Jeez some pats fans on this forum are such penny pushers

But their RBs are meh....I'm not sure on Perkins yet, TEs are a mystery. They'll be a damn good offense but man...it's a lot to improve upon.

Seem's like bill really want's cooks here. I still don't know how the saints want more than 32. He's a great player but 32's still good value.
