I actually do really like Jackson, and I think he would do well in NE, but I can't ever see them paying him $11m a year. If he's willing to do a 1 year deal for like $6m and then cash in next year, maybe.
Not having to give up a 1st rounder for him would be better than giving one up for Cooks.
Personally, I am intrigued by Woods.
On paper I agree.
But then again I don't think Woods is close to the kind of matchup nightmare that Cooks would be on our team.
For me it all depends on the fine print on a possible trade with the Saints and what we get back in addition to Cooks. No way I trade him straight for it.
Might sound weird but I am not particularly impressed by him especially because of his lack of versatility. He is great at 0 tech but then that's about it.
I would take Branch and the many roles he can play many times over Poe.
