Steelers board a place of bliss for me today

Wow. Just wow.

For those who are having the link take them to the top of the page, here is the quote:

It's all in the script. Brady rises from deflategate to win his 5th. The NFL knows what they are doing. Heck, ESPN already had the cover for its SB issue out minutes after the game ended today. The game might be fixed to some degree,

Jesus Tapdancing Christ

Simms was a disaster last night. He said a number of things last night that were incomprehensible as to how he derived at his observations and analysis.

He must have mentioned the Steelers playing zone a dozen times. He forgot the half dozen or so times they played man on a pass play: those plays didn't go any better. Why? Pittsburgh doesn't have the DBs to play man: ****rell and Shazier(!) are probably their best cover people. Brady beats the Steelers with man too.

One of my favoites:

"Overall we didn't quite play well enough, wasn't terrible by a long shot, I just think the Pat's out-played us. Hopefully Brady retires if he wins the Superbowl this year and we might have a shot at number 7 next year."

Odds on Brady retiring if they win the Superbowl????

The Steelers Forum is still nowhere near as much fun as the Jets Board. I mean, at least they have a real team and a real QB and more than one trip to the SB.

Considering all variables and accounting for the human unquantifiable effect, I've calculated the odds of Tom Brady retiring if he wins Super Bowl 51.

0.000%

Not the least of which was calling Malcolm Brown Jamaal Brown. LOL

On Sports Reporters yesterday, Jackie McMullen said that the Patriots might contain Bell because of "Malcolm Branch". Don't ask basketball folks to discuss football.

Skimmed through the thread. It's actually fairly reserved. Lots of 'Brady is GOAT' and 'Belichick outcoached us'

And.....ref complaints and their horrible D

The homer clowns at CowboysZone were called out by one of their own for celebrating the Packers and Steelers lost instead of being in the SB. Also pointed out over the last 21 years, the Boys have the worst playoff record after the Lions, Browns, Redskins. Also whined about Brady can have a QB Rating of 70 and still win a playoff game, then a non-idiot pointed out (1) stats often don't tell the entire story, (2) a good team can win if one of their stars has a bad day.

RIP Steelers fans. You had a good regular season and a great wildcard game you blew them out and a good division game close but you won, enjoy those victories. Then you met the giant of the AFL, that didn't go so well but what did you expect? See you next year, maybe.

As some here have indicated, there were some self reflective posts. Here's one of my favorites:

It's hard to game plan vs the Pats, because they change depending on their opponent. Sometimes they run it down your throat, others they throw it 50 times. Defensively, they do whatever it takes to take away your biggest threat. Us, we march out with the same plan week after week and say beat us. Well, the Pats take us up on our offer and say thank you for making that so easy

I respect the Steelers, they always have a hard nosed tough team. We just have their number, especially Brady/Belichick vs Tomlin. I knew Brady would bounce back from the Houston game, he very rarely has 2 bad games in a row. So I knew he would have a good game. I don't like to gloat and relish in another team's fans misery, because I don't like the bad karma. Plus I've been on the other end of it, it's not fun.

If a Steeler's fan comes on board causing trouble, that's a different story.

There's probably 50 page thread about Chris Hogan on the Bills forum.

Bradys was so low to the ground on that sneak you couldn't have seen it from a sky box. I saw never anything that would make me think a fumble happened in the first place.

A fumble happened. Brady was popped in the head and his facemask hit the ball out of his hands.

But there is no way to determine what happened in the pile. So no way to overturn the call.

Umm, his knee is clearly on the ground.

You can see a football? I can't and i magnafied the picture. Your arrow is pointing to his elbow.

No it wasn't. The knee I think you are looking at is Andrew's. Tough to see by just looking at a still shot but I watched it in slow motion on gamepass to verify.
