Florio is absolutely pummelling Goodell's credibility on Deflategate

Losers

NFL politics is looking a lot like US politics. The deflated footballs a couple years ago were a myth. The NFL does not have facts to support it...they would have lost in court if the focus was simply about the ball inflation. Instead, the NFL gets their way from complacent fans, and people that are fine with their lies because they hate NE.
This. We live in a post-fact society.

You can bet that Goodell will NEVER grant an interview to Florio. He only takes softball questions from idiots who won't be sharp enough or bold enough to challenge the obviously flawed answers with a follow-up.

BTW, the underlying factoid that makes Florio "get it" is that he studied engineering in school.

It started years before 2016. Fifty years ago, we had three networks that gave us occasional updates. Now we have 4-5, not including satellite/cable, internet, social media, and 24/7 coverage. Somebody down the line decided news is entertainment, so the content has taken a hit. Now we have numerous news sources, but I don't trust many of them...I tend to read several and see if the majority have a consensus to sort out truth.

Yes, it's gone from how facts stack up to what you/others want to believe. We all know people that listen exclusively to a news source that has a slant. We are reduced to saying what we want others to believe, even to the point of telling downright lies - fake news.

What the hell is Fraudger doing with his right hand and King with his left?

More probable than not they're.......... (the accepted reasoning to determine guilt)

What are the bibs for? .......... (the accepted circumstantial evidence to support accusations)

Just sayin.

As someone who has ruined a few tee shirts at Skyline eating a 4-way onion, it can be messy.

Then again I'm rocking 12 dollar tee shirts when I am in Cincy getting my fix. I know better than the wear a Brooks Brothers button up to a "chili" parlor.

And IIRC has a law degree.

So is anyone else just so tiered of any of this, its over, done, not changing. No retraction, apology or statement of regret is coming from the league "ever". I get it, us fan want to see the Pats get a break on this topic but Nationally no one is listening, really just no other folks outside New England are listening, caring, believing etc.etc.

All this talk about it just has to end. Its over, nothing is happening or changing.

As much as it hurts to say, this is the truth. so as much as I hate to immerse myself in to a echo chamber (aka this forum) , but that is what is giving some peace of mind that I have when it comes to *NFL and pats.

Callahan said it perfectly this morning, it not a slight on Kraft, they just let loose a huge loogie on face. what a travesty.

Nope. I hear about it whenever I travel and mention I'm a Pats fan. I love telling people that they drank Roger's kool-aid and were too stupid to inspect what they were drinking.

Yeah, the transition really began with the Iran hostage crisis. The were covering it 24/7, and it went on and on, and that coverage morphed into CNN. And then came Fox.

News sources turned from serious journalism to a choice of your favorite watercooler site.

Don't kid yourself. We've been getting the same news since long before we had media expansion.

The fourth rounder isn't gone yet.

If RK made a big enough stink publicly about everybody else gets a pass for jogging on the highway and we got convicted of jaywalking in the ped crossing, maybe gotohell would be forced to suspend that part of punishment.

I'm not saying back then there were no issues - there were. It's just gotten worse. The entertainment mode and 24/7 coverage has degraded news.

We had "the most trusted man in America" deliberately slanting a war. I'm not sure how that translates to things being worse now.

Back in the sixties, new broadcasters considered themselves journalist, first and last. Now they're entertainers.

Florio's the Steve Smith or Rodney Harrison of sports media types. Annoying little **** when he's on the other side, but when he's on your side you love to watch him do his thing.
