I think the last time they had a good first round pick other than DLine was Revis in 2007. Their drafting hasnt been very good, But they have had some food first round picks. Calvin Pryor isnt bad, but hes not great either, certainly not a difference maker, And since when is giving credit where credit is due a bad thing

Calvin Pryor isnt bad, but hes not great either, certainly not a difference maker, And since when is giving credit where credit is due a bad thing

Calvin Pryor is the player Chucky was talking about where he said, "if he's having trouble in coverage, just send him on the blitz. That's 3 times I've seen Pryor blitzing tonight." Pryor is garbage.

I was also alluding to the fact that the Jests draft dl in the first like Indy drafts WR, it's damn near all they do. If they couldn't hit on one every year or two given the obsession...

Are you judging Pryor based on what you see or what the announcer sees. Because Pryor was a good player last season. Nearly every jet has been bad this year on defense though

I turned the game on for about 5 minutes...I haven't watched the jets, but know their secondary has been dog **** at best this year, including Revis. Guilt by association, and when an announcer that has some credibility for knowledge of the game proclaims blitzing a member of the secondary is his only real use without presenting a liability, it's fairly damning. It's not like I ran with Dan Fouts saying he was having a tough go of things.

Their secondary has been exactly what you described it is. And yes Pryor has shown regression so far this year, Will be interesting to see if he can revert back to 2015 form. Too soon to tell if hes a bust yet or not
