Patriots To Workout Houshmandzadeh, Two Others
Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald reported last nigth that former Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, five-time Pro Bowl safety Darren Sharper, and veteran safety Renaldo Hill are scheduled to visit Foxboro and receive a workout today.
Fans shouldn't get too excited about the former Bengals receiver. He's coming off of a disapointing 30-catch season, and Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com writes that he’s not sure where he’ll fit in and thinks the Pats are just doing their “due diligence”.
Sharper and Hill's visit are two interesting ones, primarily because it shows the team is still exploring more options at safety as rumors continue to swirl about the fact they're not happy about that position. Although it's not yet known what direction they're looking to go just yet, or if there are any significant personnel changes coming.
In the meantime, here's a funny video fans will likely remember from a while ago regarding the pronunciation of the former Bengals receiver's last name.
