Why would you even watch that if you believed it to be true? Thumb on the scale or full on fixing, you're still of the belief that the league is fixing the product on the field. It's one in the same and it's dumb to keep watching if you believe that to be the case. It's an exercise in futility that has long confused me as it seems utterly pointless to not only follow a sport that's fixed, but to also leave thousands of posts on a message board about said sport, and, in some cases, spend hundreds of your hard earned dollars on tickets for it.

My best guess is that it was an attempt by someone obsessed with power granted unto him by Article 46 to display that power while trying to appease the masses. It effectively leveled the playing field because Brady is the GOAT. If I became convinced that they were even thumbing the scales, I would be done. I wouldn't post on here, spend a second of my time on pro football, and I definitely wouldn't spend hundreds or even thousands on tickets and concessions while I complained. But I have no plans of giving them my money anyway.
