I always wanted to see a longer look at Moore playing safety, like he first did in the beginning. Belichick obviously disagreed with me.

I agree with you that while he was unspectacular, we could certainly do worse at CB5.

Funny you mention that b/c I thought about it while I typed it, but no--my opinion was that Moore was better suited for safety than he was for CB, where he seemed to be a step too slow.

Obviously, I was wrong, but someone thought enough about it to have him start his career there, and personally, I'd have liked to see a longer look.

I'm not sure that it's entirely fair for us to remember one play where a DB ran into another DB as his defining moment though.

I think it will mostly be movement with the picks. They'll probably try to get in to the 4 and 5 rounds and push picks to next year if possible.

it has probably been mentioned pages back but i would have thought Pats would be interested in Roddy White? Admittedly I havent watched much of him over past couple seasons but seems like type of player BB would like to bring in...

There seem to be a number of veteran receivers currently looking for work. Any one of them could've made an argument for why they should get the tires kicked.

I'm guessing Belichick is back to trying to re-stock the developmental and PS spots at WR. It would seem that maybe he wants to get younger, not older.

White supposedly has a very large EGO that makes him an issue in the locker-room.. That was the word out just after his release.

I would imagine that both signing Hoyer and trading Garoppolo would happen nearly simultaneously - I don't think the team would trade Jimmy before getting their hands on Hoyer, and probably wouldn't sign Hoyer and sit on having 3 QBs for an awfully long time.

Arms are needed for training camp. Hoyer would likely come pretty cheap. I see no reason not to have both until at least final cut down.

I would love BB make a draft day trade for a player picked by another team in the first round. It would be a great FU to Goodell. The Pat's trade Garropollo and pick 60 to team A in exchange for the player they just drafted at say @20. LOL, Goodell would have a cow!

The rookie pool rules prohibit the Pats from picking up a first rounder in this manner.

Well the Teams who could use a QB are NYJ Den CLE DAL
Dallas is the only team that would make sense.
Id rather hold on to him in case Brady serves a 4 game suspension, gets hurt or becomes human

With the suspension of Brady a possibility, no way will bb trade jimmy.
I would love to see hoyer sign a one year deal with us though, just in case jimmy nuts up if given a chance.
