As hilarious as the Broncos missing the playoffs would be My dream of Peyton returning for one last one and done is still alive. I get moist just thinking about it.

The Jets are better than the Chiefs, but I think they still miss out because they have the hardest remaining schedule.

What. The. Hell?

I am going with Jets...we will beat them i am going with..the rest of the teams can easily win out

What. The. Hell?

I can see it now, the league calls timeout as the Broncos opponent goes into victory formation to honor Peyton as the QB with the most one and done playoff performances. Then They introduce the trophy honoring his achievement, a beautiful bronze bust of ManningFace to be awarded to the first team knocked out of the playoffs each season. Ties go to the team with the Better record.

I have to stop, i'm verklempt.....

The Bengals, without Andy Dalton, could finish 10-6 on the outside looking in. They're fortunate to have the 49ers next week, but it's a chance for the Niners to have a say in the playoff picture before they disappear into the dust bowl of history. The wheels can come off fast in the NFL.

Well, I think whoever the Pats play if Brady is patient they'll get their points. Then my choice is to play teams that don't have that many offensive weapons--as this defense gets healthier it's absolutely turning into a unit that can shut teams down. You see the Chiefs coming into Gillette and winning? No way.

OK but points will come by easier vs Pitt.

It would be favorable if Pitt could grab that 3 seed. @niners @denver vs Baltimore. Any chance they drop all 3?

Anything's possible, but the opposing QBs will (probably) be:

Blaine Gabbert
Brock Osweiler
Jimmy Clausen/The dessicated corpse of Matt Schaub

KC has an easy schedule so they're in. If Pitt can beat Denver they're in unless the Jets can run the table which will include beating the Patriots. So in my mind the Jets are the likely team out.

jets could win all 3 and be out...I doubt kc/pitt lose another

Is this true? If all three teams win out, would the Jets lose out on tiebreakers? If the playoffs started today, the Steelers are the odd team out.

I am hoping pittsburgh beats the donkeys. It allows us to drop a game if we can't win one of the final two.

that's what they were saying last night on nfl network..all win out, jets are out

Yup it's true. If Jets, KC and Pitt win out, Jets are 11-5 outside of the playoffs. We'd lose on conference record.

The likely playoff teams looked pretty evident early in the season, and still do mostly, but now the Chiefs have snuck in there. KC also has a pretty easy road ahead:

@ Baltimore
Browns
Raiders

Their problem is they've won quite a few in a row already, and they are the Chiefs.

The Jets have:

@Cowboys
Pats
@Bills

And the Steelers:

Broncos
@Ravens
@Browns

Think we'd agree Pittsburgh is the most dangerous of the lot. My chosen path to the Super Bowl would be (out of what's somewhat likely to happen) hosting the Chiefs and the Broncos, but we'll see. But who gets left out in the cold?

The correct answer is Jets.
Jets are the least likely to win out and if all three of these teams win out, Jets are out.

That plus f*ck them.

I think we shoukd root for the 49ers this weekend. Get some separation.

If the Jets, Pitt and KC all win out, which is possible, the Jets are likely out at 11-5 on some tiebreaker. At least that's what I heard last night. That would be FANtastic.

Where's the party going to be held?
