I hope you are right. Gronk's whole approach to this thing is troubling.I don't think so. But it would be pretty ******** if Wild Card OR Divisional weekend rolls around and Edelman suits up but Gronk doesn't.
I don't think that will be case.

Problem is its up to Gronk and HIS team, not the Pats.I think it really kinda depends how things go this week. If they lose to Houston, they may as well keep Gronk out and just shoot for the 3 seed and try to grind out a couple wins, and ensure Gronk is healthy for the games that matter most. But if they beat Houston, and especially if Denver or Cincinnati lose this week too (could happen to Cinci), they should try to get Gronk back by the last couple weeks of the regular season to keep the bye locked up, even if it's just for limited snaps.
No. It was immediately reported that Gronk and the Patriots dodged a bullet and that it was even possible he would miss no time. (Not that that report even matters) Then, it became very obvious (and reported on by Curran and others) that was most certainly a disconnect between the Patriots and Gronk's camp. The Video he released was embarrassing and obviously demonstrated the disconnect. Gronk is on his own reservation whether you want to admit it or not. And I don't know why you are blasting posters anyway. Can Gronk be cleared to ****ing practice first before all this dumbass speculation? People keep taking Gronk's "100%" comment like he wrote it in ****ing stone. Enough with the *****ing and its the same 3 or 4 people every time. Here's what's happened so far: Gronk gets injured, Gronk immediately is ruled out, Gronk is then ruled out against the Eagles. He doesn't practice. He is status is now doubtful versus Houston. We still don't know if he'll practice this week. Here's what those 4 posters THINK is happening: Gronk's gonna sit out multiple games knowing the team is St Louis Rams-like offensively without him. We don't know that he will or that he has any intention of doing so, but that's what we're gonna think.
Because you keep *****ing about it. You keep making threads about it. Other threads keep getting derailed because of it. No one knows a damn thing about the entire situation, but here we have our resident Patsfans poster speculating about it like Gronk talks to him daily. Unless you see a report that states that Gronk is cleared to play and refuses to, stop bringing it up like you have all the information.No. It was immediately reported that Gronk and the Patriots dodged a bullet and that it was even possible he would miss no time. How did people like Gonzalez, and most pertinent Whitten managed to stay so healthy for so long? We are designing plays that puts Gronk in harms way? What can the Patriots or Gronk change to increase his chance of longevity in the game? Looking at the game, he was targeted on that knee in the first half, got up gingerly and the second hit caused the decommissioned pain he felt.

He has an agenda. One of the most painfully wrong posts I have ever read on this site. Wow. Just wow!
Because they're not made of glass. How did people like Gonzalez, and most pertinent Whitten managed to stay so healthy for so long?
Is this a joke? Or do you think I think Gronk is made of glass? Gronk is the toughest person I have seen play the position, physically and mentally. That is out of the question.Because they're not made of glass.
I believe the team does need to evaluate making the team less dependent on Gronk. When Edleman is on the field it will easier. Remember Gronk has been in the league 5 completed seasons and for 4 of those years a "Gronkless" team won the Super Bowl. Having The Gronk is not a requirement to winning the Super Bowl. 48 of them have been won without him so far.
I believe we have seen the last of Gronk this season,
I am sorry, but I think he is listening to his father. I don't think he will miss this week because of Dad and probably because of his injury isn't healed, but I can almost guarantee you his father is pressuring him to wait until the post season to come back. And unfortunately his father has far too much control of his son. Why else do you think the Patriots and the Gronkowski family are issuing press releases.

I am just asking if our smart coaches have a plan to help protect him by studying the type of catches Whitten makes and designing such plays. It helps to have a Dez as well.
