PS: love that line in that otherwise respectful and professional letter where he changes tone by addressing the media pinheads.

Hate the headline -- calling it "magical" makes it seem as though they dismiss the physicists findings.

What Bennett sees and what Sherman apparently misses, is that the blowback from this could also taint a Seahawks win - "they only won because the Patriots were distracted by some stupid and phony issue!"

And bennett is spot on about the propaganda part, blowing up the game.

I'd love to agree with that, but no one ever mentions the distractions caused by Specter and Tomase when praising the Giants for winning SB42.

There is a much bigger difference. Last time, BB didn't single-handedly body slam the NFL, the media and the haters on live TV while proclaiming that the Pats are the best team in the NFL.

You see Dr., the problem is that regardless of what occurs to this point. Kensil has won. He wanted the harm the Patriots and he has....irrevocably. You see, if it came out tomorrow that the Pats were completely innocent of all charges, AND Kensil was guilty of a full blown conspiracy; that poll number would drop from 47 to 32%, with most of those people ignoring the facts thinking that at his point, where there is smoke there must be some fire, or if they aren't guilty of this, they must be guilty of something else.

This is media manipulation at its best and most unjust. But unfortunately it's a fact of life whether we like it or not. We are fans of a team perceived as a "rouge franchise", with no ethical standards, and willing to do anything to win. I guess we are just going to have to deal with it.
