am I the only one NOT missing the annoying sidebar that eats half the page?

It's still there for people with high resolution screens, it's just floated all the way to the right now and spaced out better, and it disappears for people on older PC's. I removed it and moved our articles to the top bar instead to make that experience a little easier.

Also just noticed if you leave the page open, a notification pops up after a few minutes that allows you to view new posts without refreshing. Wasn't aware it did that

I'm going to head to bed for now and call it a night. Have a bit of a headache and I'm going to try and catch up a bit on some sleep. Hopefully those other processes that are running will finish overnight so I can move on to phase two of this project. So as I've said, still some other things to look forward to

THAT would be most excellent news. I've got a few to share at some point. First, though, I have to acclimate myself to the new site. It's sort of like getting a new car. basically the same as the old one, but stuff is in different places, slightly different designs, some MAJOR differences, etc.

That's what I was getting at with the "infinitely better" part. That sidebar shouldn't make it's return to this version of the forum, IMO.
