DeSean Jackson Released by Eagles [update]: Signed by Washington

You make the wildest analogies. How many times has Brady dropped the ball short of the goal line so he could do a dance or a flip?

Wait.... I make an on point comparison of Brady missing this type of 'voluntary' time, and you decide to go completely off the rails with something that has absolutely nothing with the current discussion, and I'm the one making the "wildest analogies"?

Good comedy.

You must have those goalposts on the back of a truck, because they sure moved fast.

Excellent point. Jackson did absolutely nothing wrong, and he even got clearance for taking the vacation before he signed with his new team (according to the report), but let's pretend he did something bad anyway.

According to the report you just posted. I didn't read that. Nevertheless, he has a reputation and one that he's earned, that would keep non Redskin type teams away, apparently.

His problem, not mine.

The current discussion is about DeSean. I like Spikes a lot and think he's real funny on twitter, but i have to admit, he's setting himself up and when one forms a character in the minds of fans, players and team leadership, stuff that's otherwise OK seems to stick.

Personally, I'm just glad we didn't get him. He's a narcissist and exhibitionist just like Ocho.

That's my opinion, I don't run a team.

No, the current discussion was, and is, about DeSean and the vacation non-issue. It had/has nothing to do with dropping a ball short of the goal line, or doing a dance, or doing a flip.

You've captured all the pathos and bathos of Jet fandom, even more than the dork with the plane on his head.

I viewed the guy with the plane on his head as just sad...he really didn't instigate any type of bad feelings inside of me like the majority of their other idiot fans did.

I think it was the Thanksgiving night game that made me feel this way, seeing him shake his head over and over again in disgust.

I certainly agree with the "dork" analysis though, but maybe that's why I feel so bad for him?

You don't feel for that poor guy in Jokers sig who looks like he's pulling stuffing out of his head?

Yes, skipping previously unknown weightlifting days for an already paid vacation is a horrible thing to do. True Patriots players would never miss such voluntary activities.

I guess MeTom was lucky not to get cut. He didn't even have the absolutely valid excuse that his new team was starting their program two weeks earlier than his old team because of the NFL rules allowing that for a new coaching staff.

Hmmm.......

It's almost as if people are just looking for things to attack Jackson over....

Almost.

Its almost like Deus just looking for things to feel superior to his fellow Patsfans posters over....

Yet again.
