Well said and summarized. I also will reiterate for the sake of those unknowing: this thread is NOT simply about the Jets (a/k/a New Jersey Green Beans) simply sucking on the field of play. It is, first and foremost, an ongoing public service chronicle of professional sports' most abhorrent, morally and ethically bereft franchise. This team perpetuates a culture of depravity reflected equally by ownership, coaching staff, players and fan base in a wholly unique and abidingly detestable fashion. Soullessness is their way of being. Genuine sportsmanship is beyond their understanding. We endeavor to remain vigilant in exposing these things for the greater public good.

I remember when Joker first posted that info here, I almost fell off my chair.

Before I came here last year I was a regular on the aol boards, and I remembered arguing with Jets fans about Goodell's history as a Jets employee. At one point I went to Wikipedia to support my view and saw what I thought was a change, but I just figured that I had been mistaken. Then I read Joker's post here.

It's all more proof of just how much the Jets do suck

Seriously i have never read any posts on this site (as i have on the jest forums) calling for the purposeful injury of an opposing player, or happiness and joy that an opposing player has been injured. I've this sort of thing many times on jest insider and gang green. There are just to many Long standing jest posters for this to be some group of pats fans infiltrating and posting nasty, vile, hate filled replies. This is who many of these fans are, the scum of the earth.
