Stephen Hill reminds me of our McCourty both have stone for hands.

But having hands of stone is ok for a safety. McCourty would be a better WR than Hill because he catches a higher percentage of balls coming his way.

Ravens favorite to land Steve Smith. Perfect fit the more I think about it.

Good. The Ravens get older and slower. Reduces the urge for Edelman to go to a team that doesn't have Darrelle Revis.

Surprised Belichick is not bringing Devin Hester in ... he can be had for around 1 million.

Also would be nice to see TE Andrew Quarless get a look before someone else grabs him.

Man the Jaguars are stocking up on defensive linemen. No doubt that Gus Bradley is slapping his blueprint from Seattle on that Jaguars D.

I think Gus Bradley may have innovated something along the DL - having 10 average DL is the same as having 4 elite DL and 6 scrubs.

he hasn't even been released yet?

perfect fit meaning 'thugs gonna thug'?

Not sure if I'd call him a thug. But he's a chippy player.

Running back market appears to be very soft, didn't hear any move yet. Ok Sproles today.

I think Blount will come back for peanuts and some doritos.

Is there any play for WR Santonio Holmes? If we lose Edelman I think Holmes would be a Great fit on a one year pact he's a Good Route runner with Speed to boot.

Wonder if Bill has any interest in Champ Bailey. Tall guys in the defensive backfield are en vougue right now and Wiki has him listed at this:

Personal information

Date of birth: June 22, 1978 (age 35)
Place of birth: Folkston, Georgia

Height: 8 ft 0 in (2.44 m) Weight: 192 lb (87 kg)

A little on the thin side, but imagine the PD #'s he could put up.

Character and intelligence issues wrapped up in a blanket of underachievement doesn't sound like anyone worth pursuing.

Want to give yourself nightmares? Picture Santonio Holmes as the veteran role model for a young, inexperienced WR corps.

Santonio Holmes would be subtraction by addition.

Yeah, but he would have been great in Denver's offense, too. I was fearing that. Sproles is a nightmare match-up.

Eagles quietly building something there. Very smart to lock up Maclin and Cooper.

I don't think they are "quietly" building anything. They are the best team in the NFCE now and aren't going to sneak up on anybody.

Everyone talks about the NFC West, NFC West, NFC West...

We'll see.

They are really doing a good job of roster building:

- Nick Foles is still low cost which helps their cap situation, and he should continue to improve.
- They are giving him a good OL, locking up Jason Kelce and Jason Peters. Lane Johnson should improve year 2.
- They have the deepest and strongest group of offensive skill players in the NFL: DeSean Jackson, Shady McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, Riley Cooper, Darrin Sproles, Zach Ertz, Brent Celek.
- They've improved their secondary considerably with the signings of Malcolm Jenkins and Nolan Carroll.

They could use a bit of help on their defensive front 7, but they are building a quality roster that will position them to be a serious competitor in the NFC.

Donald Brown got 3 years for $10.5M with $4M guaranteed from SD.

Indy could afford to lose him with Trent Richardson. With Richardson, if you need a yard, he'd give you a yard. If you need three yards, he'd give you a yard. Ahhhh.... Who am I kidding? If you need a yard, Richardson would get tackled in the backfield.

Definitely. He can be their slot receiver, but with the speed and physicality to take advantage of flacco's arm strength. Way better fit for Baltimore than Edelman is

I'm not sure he's a fit. Raven's players like to beat up women, not other team mates.

I don't know about that. The Broncos, Lions, Packers, and Saints certainly have a claim on that title. The Patriots could, too, depending on player health and how the rest of free agency plays out.

Nicks visiting indy....i expected him to go there.

I like that the pats aren't in on him
