Explosive New Hernandez Details

He's been interviewed 3 days in a row, with the police coming to his house the past 2--last night with a very extensive search and warrant of his residence. They've also taken forensic evidence from him, along with seized cell phone records and the actual cell phones from him and his 2 friends that were at the house. They have also combed throughout his front and back yard multiple times, including the areas surrounding his house and the 1 mile in between the home and the scene of the body.

He's definitely "been interviewed" and very thoroughly. My guess is that he will continue to be interviewed until this is over. Most outlets state that he is actually at the heart of the investigation due to his ties with both the people in question and also the victim. Unfortunately it seems as though he is actually currently one of the main players in this case. Hopefully that changes and does not continue to trend in the wrong direction as it has so far.

I fully 100% understand and agree with that in most cases. The only real exception is discussing it on a patsfans message board to hear other opinions, since it's a very hot topic.

I am by no means finding him guilty or calling him anything, but I do not agree with some of his personal decisions that are really not much in question at this point--unless you're in serious denial or extremely optimistic; and if you are, then I admire that trait fully and wish that I could feel the same in this matter.

I personally can't help but feel that he's been involved in some poor decision making lately, but that's just part of the speculation and opinion based stuff that we're talking about. My judgment of his character could very well be off, and I certainly hope that it is.

I won' labour the point, but formal interviews don't normally take place in the home. But I'll move on from that.

I am neither in denial or optimistic, just taking a wait and see approach.

I absolutely agree with you as regards his character, something that
I think needs to be discussed in the future as regards BB, the draft and "value".

Then the question the other poster had has been answered.

Tomorrow is a big day, the police already know if they think he did it or was there. Can't imagine we get by tomorrow not known what it anything Hernandez is gonna be facing.

Do think its a bit weak that a police officer leaked this info when I've been staring at twitter all night tryin to see what's going on with kg and doc to the clippers with no leaks there.

ESPN reported that talks were now off between them, but I haven't been paying that close of attention (nor do I care as much as you).

I saw their report around dinnertime on Wednesday/last evening, so you may have more accurate info than I do. Just passing on what I heard about it.

It all depends on the circumstances to be honest. In the criminal justice field I have seen them occur in both settings, although I am not as experienced as you obviously are. My experience is on the early end of the career. I would certainly agree that in a taped setting it should obviously occur in a station, although I have seen taped settings outside of the station too. As I said, I will definitely defer to your expertise on that one due to your experience and credentials.

If you really want to get technical though, he supposedly interviewed with them on Monday evening outside of the home--when their initial questioning took place.

He was also gone between 8am-1pm today, so we don't know one way or another if he was down at the police HQ's or not. At any rate, it does seem that he has visited the station on some level, and we definitely know that the other 2 suspects or POI certainly have been also.

Yahoo reported an hour ago deal was done waiting approval.

Which is why I came here to check out the latest in this case. I had no idea about any of the stuff reported in this particular thread, last I knew he wasn't even considered a suspect.

This is about as bad as it gets. If he ever has a career after this, we and he will be dealing with every other fan base te way the ravens did with Lewis.

Assuming he can even get away with it like he did.

I don't think we need to bring other posters into a disagreement, and like I've said at least 5x, there seems to be a difference of opinions so why don't we just leave it at that and quit wasting ours and others' time and space?

This all stemmed from my comment about Hernandez's "shady dealings." As I repeatedly have said that is my personal belief although I also understand and see your point. You have a more optimistic approach and I admire and fully get that. In many cases I actually agree with it.

In this particular instance I am going to stand by my comments about Aherns potential "shady dealings" due to the fact that he's been sued for shooting someone in the face with an illegal weapon (however it turns out in court isn't the point to it reflecting poorly on his character), and being the main focus of a murden investigation--both within the last 48 hrs. To me that's pretty much the textbook definition of "shady dealings," and I'm really honestly not sure why you seem to have such a problem with it?

As I repeatedly have stated, I am not calling him a murderer. I am stating that I believe that he is making, and has made in the past---"shady dealings." Those were my exact words so I will continue to use them.

That's pretty much all I have to say about it, so why don't we move on and agree to disagree?

I must congratulate you Supafly for keeping your cool. I've read what's been said and I'm not sure I would have responded as respectfully as you did.

Although this report doesn't look good for Hernandez, it is still too early to convict him. Obviously, the victim changed cars at some point and Hernandez could have dropped him off at the crime scene before the murder.

It starting to look that Hernandez is at least a witness or accomplice to the murder, but there could be evidence like a text or a phone call by the victim after Hernandez dropped him off that might clear him.

If Hernandez is guilty of at least being an accomplice, I can't believe he is so stupid to have the victim killed in a car he rented and left within walking distance of his house. Not only does that make him scum, but an idiot to boot.

Oh BS. Nobody should feel any pity for Hernandez here. He could very well be directly involved in this. Just as much as he could not have known a thing. We don't know yet.

Regardless, at the very least - he is as dumb as can be to associate himself with people such as this.

Yeah but you have to realize you cant control what your friends do. They were most likely friends way before Hernandez became rich and famous and then just mooched off him. Either that or his spanish side came out in him.

His "Spanish side?" Really?

festy, are you a homicide cop?

I don't think, from what we do know, that it looks anything but bad right now. I'm waiting and seeing too, just because we're talking about not just a Pats player, but someone who's a free man right now and, so far, isn't being threatened with loss of that freedom.

We don't know that he did a dang thing... "yet."

But that said, what's your source for "how the first 48 go"? Isn't it also the case that if you don't have enough on someone, you can sometimes let him go and keep your eye on him before formal questioning, hoping for slip-ups or just more evidence before you bring him in?

Hypothetical: What if he's not the trigger-man, but they don't yet have enough to really prove he conspired? Then what's there to threaten him (his lawyer) with, to turn him, and nail down their case against the shooter?

I don't know "how the first 48 goes," but I'm not sure it's a cookie cutter, and I'm not sure you know either. Again, are you a homicide cop? Do you actually have the "first 48" playbook in your head from long experience? If so, ever dealt with a celebrity in such a case (therefore, with lots of lawyerly access?)

I'm not mocking and not trying to pick a fight, I'm just trying to get at whether you're throwing an opinion out there randomly, or whether you have some kind of expertise to match your tone of authority on the subject.

Another theory: his lawyer went to great pains to say Aaron wasn't going to say anything, at least not until the investigation concludes. Aaron didn't kill the man, but knows who did. He won't talk, however, because the gang will whack him if he does. Thus the silence.

He didn't look worried when he came out of the Juke drinking the vitamin water yesterday. Serious, yes, but not worried.

With this new info, and the Florida thing, it really paints a terrible picture of Hernandez and his so called friends. Bad selection of friends, will cost Hernandez his career and his freedom. Unfortunately, just because an athlete goes to college, doesn't mean he's smart. I don't think we will ever see Hernandez in a Patriot uniform ever again.

You may be stretching here. It is typical for a potential suspect of a crime not to speak to the press especially if he is represented by an attorney.

Sad but if you hang with thugs you go down with thugs.

Its hard to believe anyone can be this stupid.

"Live by the sword, die by the sword"

Disappointing to say the least.

I hate the Broncos.

also...I don't like this:

• WBZ-TV Boston has also reported “a neighbor of Odin’s told WBZ they had seen Hernandez in the neighborhood and that Odin dated the sister of Hernandez’s girlfriend.”

After the weed bust and shooting incident you would think he would LAY LOW.

NO GUNS
NO PUNKS

He should have stayed in and stuck to the MMJ

OT: what is that on Mark's head?

Ignorance, is a bliss my friend.

Everything you just typed was was tasteless in totality.

Maybe we can change the board name to Son's of Zeke Mowatt.

I'll bet BB is seriously regretting that Welker release now.

No Gronk, Hernandez or Welker.

Under the law of parties, the driver of the getaway car is just as culpable as the trigger man. And subject to the same punishment.

You say that, but doesn't the article say that the car returned without the suspect? Hardly his 'getaway'.

All speculation right now. There's nothing concrete or he'd be in a jail cell by now.

Nice to see the hundreds of police officers and law experts we have on this board flocking out.....

Fixed it for ya'. And, because you're being unnecessarily snarky, it's brought out the illiterates also.

I'm keeping an open mind until we are dealing with facts directly revealed by the police or DA and not just reported as such in the media, but this does not look good.
