oh...my...Tebow....

our very own Vinny Patrollie just got banned from J.I. by the biggest hypocrite piece of scum allowed to surf the net...the reprehensible 32Green, who has allowed death threats, rape threats, robbery threats and jokes about our owner's wife's dead body in, shall I say, all kinds of deviant sexual scenarios, all aimed at anybody admitting their Patriot fandom ...I mean this piece of human crud actually has the gall to ban Vinnie when HIS entire fanbase is in full bloodlust mode screaming for Ahern's blood...I'm revolted and disgusted

I understand your all giddy with the possibilities of an issue, and it may come to pass that you're right. But you're jumping to conclusions. Admit it for once.

Vin, I'm not going to sort through Jet fans posts to find out how you were really right all along. You know this. Its much easier to ban you, who I have warned many times before. See ya.

This piece of excrement is a DISGRACE to every single HUMAN being on this planet.....

Vin, welcome to the banned club. Permabanned myself from both. Those places are strictly for comic relief. Where grown men use words like " 'tard ", "turd" and "ghey" in every sentence. They deserve everything they get. Have comfort in knowing we are the proverbial thorn in they're side. :singing:

If you want to talk to the police in a criminal case, you go right ahead and do so. I'll take the smarter approach, and I encourage others to do the same.

Whether you've been read your Miranda rights or not, anything you say can and will be used against you.

... and don't assume that actually being innocent means squat.

It's sad but true.

While I don't feel all warm and fuzzy about Hernandez being close enough to this to warrant his house being searched he's at least smart enough to not say anything without his lawyer OK'ing it.

That's being used against him in the court of public opinion, but he's got to be more concerned about the court of law at this point - regardless of whether he's directly involved or not.

At least one study estimated the number of innocent people in prison ranges from 1%-2%

If that's true it's an astounding number of people wrongly convicted

yeah.....man, there's GOTTA be a way I can blame on this Ahern stuff on Tebow...c'mon, help me out here guys...

Was there an anonymous phone call and who made it? Pin it on Tebow. Simples.

Summer of '13 irony: Only reasons Ahern and Gronk are here are their college histories of bad judgments and bad back.

The other 31 GM's aren't looking quite so stupid now. This is the potential downside to 'value'.

Right...all we gotta do is find The Chosen Phone and run the records!!!

but where....WHERE could it be???...I GOT IT!!!! Best Buy...

It's not even just a matter of what you say, anymore. Since the Salinas case, the police are even allowed to use pre-Miranda silence against you unless you specifically invoked your rights.

I hear ya - and that is why he should have never brought it up in the first place about being an attorney and what his "advice" would have been for Aaron Hernandez even though he knows of nothing about this case other than what was publicly stated.

What the media reports is a sampling of what is really going on at the Hernandez household today. That is what gets me about this whole thing.

Sometimes all a lawyer has are headlines. I talked to a lawyer a couple years back who gave me some advice based on headline stories. My friend was in prison overseas and that's all we had at first.

When I asked what's the first piece of advice I could give him he replied "if anyone speaks to him, TELL HIM NOT TO TALK!"...

uh...if he was in prison overseas, chances are he COULDN'T talk....

He was going to be transported here eventually and the advice I got was he shouldn't talk to the police on any level or anyone else for that matter.

I'm sure Ahern was just thinking about his old Bong collection when he called his lawyer....

Laywer shows up "Hey Aaron how were you involve?"

AH "I wasn't involved. I just have a massive Bong collection in the basement I don't want the police to find, can you help me dude?"

Like what? What are you referring to?

Like I said, I'm by no means getting on him for what I deem as past "maturity" issues, and I do not/would not consider anything as being remotely relevant to this particular matter--so let me be clear in stating that first. However, your choice to paint him as a model citizen with a great upbringing is not correct either.

Since you wanted some examples or proof, we can start with repeated drug use where he failed "multiple" tests from a period of 2006 in high school all the way to 2009/2010 at Florida right before he was drafted. To be honest, it was the primary concern and #1 reason why he fell to the 4th round to begin with, hence the irony that someone else brought up in another comment.

Patriots draft pick Hernandez failed marijuana tests - The Boston Globe

If you'd like to take it one step further, another article from the Boston.com website even goes on to use my exact wording:

"Hernandez still had maturity issues from time to time, and failed drug tests at the University of Florida are the reason he lasted until the fourth round of the 2010 draft, when the Patriots took him with the 113th selection.

Those mistakes cost him a lot of money. His signing bonus was $200,000, and nearly half his salaries each season were made up of roster and workout bonuses in order to provide a carrot for Hernandez to be all that he could be."

As someone who has needed second and even third chances before completely reached my maturity level stemming from past mistakes (with drugs, arrests, and poor decisions etc) I can vouch that many of us need a second chance--sometimes even more; but claiming Hernandez never had any challenges or maturity issues in his past is simply incorrect.

And there you have it. He is a paralegal.

Not meaning to get into anyone's business, but I can honestly tell you that Deus Irae was 100% spot on with everything in the Alfonzo Dennard case, and provided many good points and challenges that both sides faced in proving and defending their respective cases. From what I gather he is a very private person, who simply doesn't wish to share his personal business too much in a public setting.

Again--not meaning to get between you or either of your points of validity or arguments. I am simply giving you my personal take on my dealings with these issues and the specific poster whom you are referring to, so take it for what it's worth

In this particular instance we're discussing an opinionated subject that people will feel very strongly towards, one way or the other. Like many of our debates, the truth may very well lie in the middle. I know that I have also had the police take advantage of the fact that I was a teenager/kid when I got into some of my troubles with small amount of marijuana possession too, actually using the fact that I had a past charge for the same offense as so-called "probable cause" to search me without my consent. Had I known more about my rights and been better informed I could have saved myself a lot of heartache and money, so my guess is that is the main point in all of this.

That said, I do believe that you're correct in saying that there are certain instances where it is better to cooperate and make things easier, depending upon the situation of course; but as a whole, I myself will strongly lean towards contacting an attorney if ever I have any future run ins or problems. For the record I myself would never agree with going the "harda55 route," but I will respectfully ask for my rights to be honored. I think that's probably the best approach. That said, we all have our own opinions on what we think may be the best way to go.

Aaron Hernandez quizzed in death probe | Boston Herald don't know if anybody has posted about this yet. but a detective involved in the case disputed the report that Hernandez wasn't being cooperative.

There were indeed conflicting reports as to whether or not he cooperated and how exactly everything went down over the past 24 or so hours, so thank you for pointing this out.

Bedard and SI reported tonight that Hernandez had actually been cooperative with the authorities as early as Monday afternoon/evening, so I'm assuming that may be true. That said, I'd have to bet that he contacted his attorney and may have had him present during the questioning, but either way it's good to hear that the reports of him not being cooperative may indeed be untrue.

I don't know about anyone else's take on it, but I never was tremendously worried that AHern had actually committed a serious offense etc. I think that he is obviously tied to the case just by way of the rental car, where his home was in location to the proximity of the body, and who his friends and POI may be. If anything, something may come out about poor decision making etc, but I highly doubt that we're looking at anything too bad here. Hopefully we can put it to rest within the next day or so and nothing bad will come out about any questionable or poor decisions, along with any "other" concerns such as issues that aren't related to the case (German dungeon porn, bong collection, hookers under the bed etc).

the lyrics will write themselves if this turns south..believe me
