I get the irony but what's a defense supposed to do? This offense only league is getting out of control. I don't like it at all

Two seconds before Gruden said what he said, I said out loud, "What's the difference between that hit and the one called against the Falcons on the last drive?" Then Gruden said the same thing.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why the refs make that call and why they don't.

I'm surprised that sack wasn't penalized, at full speed it looked a lot worse than it was. I thought it was a facemask before the replay.

I agree. But that wasn't what the refs called. They called "hit against a defenseless receiver" which is when you drill a receiver who has leapt into the air and is on the way down.

I'm tired of flag football. The NFL needs to legislate defense back into the game.
