Wow, obvious hold there on the left side of the line. You could clearly see the dude's jersey getting pulled.

Well Atlanta isn't helping themselves by not getting stops..Like seriously..Reminds me of the Pittsburgh game.

When the announcers start using basketball terminology to describe plays, you know the NFL game is on the downslide.

that's what I mean. It's not that the penalties that are called are all that wrong, it's the ones tthat are not being called

Saints Offense looks pretty scary. So many damn weapons. The saints running game iMO is mile better than the patriots (or the packers for that matter).

Falcons stink

The Falcons D looks like ours on third down but yeah there was a blatant hold on that long pass that wasn't called. Saints have been getting the better of the officiating, not that it really matters since Atlanta can't stop them.

Looks like the Saints are actually playing for Marino's record. Averaging 6.5 ypc on the ground and passing twice as often.

We get it. A yardage record will be broken, that will be double broken on top of that.

I knew that the Saints would score when the drive started. I hate to be so cynical but they won't be denied tonight. Could have written this script before the first snap....sick of the Monday night crew too

why the hate ? our boys are just playing the best they can.

If we make the superbowl, i hope we play the saints or the packers. So much ballwashing will occur in that game, some people might turn straight up homo!

The Saints' offense is insanely good. Atlanta's defense is ranked #9 by yards (327.2) and #10 in points (20.1). So they've got a pretty good defense. And yet, in one half, here's what NO has done:

- 21 points
- 306 total yards
- Brees: 230 yds passing
- 84 yards rushing (6.5 ypc)
- 8-8 on 3rd down conversions

I mean, the Saints are just carving up a good defense.

Both the packers and saints wouldn't be able to stop WAR.

Brady throwing to WAR would shred this defense.

And that surprises you? That's what the Saints have been doing all year. Top 5 team in yards per rush, and Brees has the most pass attempts in the NFL by a very healthy margin. Our resident Saints fans don't like it when I say it, but it's the truth: only reason Brees is the one getting the passing yardage record this season is because he throw the football a lot more than Brady and Rodgers. Both those guys average more passing yards per attempt than Drew does.
