Just easy link from NFL but it goes to the mutual respect between BB and Rex that exists in spite of fans trying to make them out to be enemies.....BB has never exhibited the antipithy towards Rex that he showed to Ratgini.....and Rex returns it in this short interview:

NFL Videos: Rex: 'I want what Bill Belichick's got'

I don't know why some Pat's fans give Rex so much crap.....you are judged by the quality of your opponents.....Rex gives the Pats a reason to excell.....doubt it....take a look at the Pats defense this year as compared to last....BB is rising to the challenge.....and will take care of business...

They don't like him because he's a blowhard who makes foot sex videos and is the head coach of the teams closest rival. He's also morbidly obese and I have a tough time consuming an unhealthy meal these days without thinking about Rex Ryan running a sweaty 100 yard dash topless and my fear of reaching those monolithic heights of oblete spheroidism.

I like Rex. I don't like every aspect of his personality, but I don't like every aspect of some of my friend's personalities, so....

He's a good coach and he's good for the league.

Well said, he's a good coach and knows how to motivate his team ! I also think he's pretty shall we say " Colorful "

nobody hates him, but Ryan is an idiot.......

he talks so much that he he's covered both sides of moth arguments.

go ahead and like him if you want.....I'd never want him to coach the pats

Well, he is alot more fun than ....Norv. lol. And Tony Sparano....

The reason I enjoy the BB-Rex chess match so much is I do believe they do respect each other, but during the week the two teams face each other, the two coaches want to kill each other as bad as the players want to do on the field. I think Belichick has the advantage this year and I expect him to try and run the score up on the Jets.

 You said; RUN UP THE SCORE !! ":eek::eek:

Rexy is the bag guy manager from 1980s WWF, as soon as he arrived on the scene the intensity of the Pats/Jets rivalry was amped up 10fold, and like it or not he's gotten the better of us the last 3 out of 5 matchups and he's had pretty good playoff success.

At the end of the day I wouldnt want him coaching the Pats but he's excellent for the Jets, admit it, you LOVE to hate him.

C'mon Jax...more fun than Barretta Jr.??...Tony Sparrowrano??? ...look at this...THIS is a REAL funny double doofus....

You're right. I absolutely love saying that he's nothing more than a putrid bag of rodent vomit.

I haven't brought myself to be able to hate this guy, he's a giant goofball and has done a heck of a job with a previously inept franchise. Mad entertaining too.

If he wins a couple of rings I may change my mind though

I'll take an 'idiot' who gets his team to the AFCCG 2 years in a row over any coach in the league not named Belichick.

lol, Poor Tony. A simple minded manic depressive high school assistant sports equipment manager that is not in Rex's comic relief program. That guy can;t even dial a phone right.

Because he is a buffoon? He'd be a favorite if he wore a big red nose, orange hair and size 28 shoes, and was the third clown out of the mini-Cooper. We'd love him then and laugh until the circus left town, and then say, "Remember that fat clown? Wasn't he funny?" But as an NFL coach? Funny but still a buffoon.

Oh, Jeez, not another 'BB has changed his entire defense and upgraded the pass rush because he is afraid of Mark Sanchez?' Gimme a break

No.....although I understand your thoughts on this....moreso that the Ravens and Jesters pushed the Pats around the last 2 home playoff games....I think, only think, that BB is moving the Pats from Colts East back to the 2003 kick your arse up and down the field team based upon the beef up front and 2 RB's drafted relatively early this year....The defensive signings kind of speak for themselves.....beef....100% American pure beef....

But...what do I know....I don't even have a video on NFL network....damn it!

I thought he wasn't here to kiss Bill Belichick's rings? ;)

I don't mind Rex because he's entertaining and understands that his job (outside of coaching) with the Jets necessitates a loud and active media presence to keep a level of relevance in the NY market.

Still, sounds like he's kissing rings. He can kiss number 4 in February.

Hes still running his big mouth.

All hes done is badmouth Brady and the Pats since he landed in NY. The minions in Jersey and NYC eat up all his BS.

Win something and then talk.

i like his style of taking the entire media spotlight off his players

You might be the only man on this earth who thinks about a sweaty, topless Rex Ryan.
