Yeah...In my mind....mini tear is like a 3 or 4 week stretch.

I think the word he was looking for is......."ANOTHER".....

Re: Mike Freeman CBS Twitter

Silly Twitter post.

With that said, assuming that this offense will operate somewhat below 2007 & 2010 levels of efficiency, a 480-520 point season is well within reason to suppose.

LOL, my thoughts exactly.

Regardless, it's good to strike fear on the consistent basis that this team currently does. Let's keep it coming..the GFY tour part duece!!

It almost makes people forget about the jets and their lucky streak...almost (not including the victory over us in the playoffs, which I feel was well earned)

Re: Mike Freeman CBS Twitter

The Pats should have no problem putting up 480 Points or more

This of course is if Brady remains healthy and no major injuries.

Re: Mike Freeman CBS Twitter

I think the offense is the biggest benefactor of our improved defense. Not seeing all those 3rd down conversions, thus, the offense gets the ball more often. Though, we also may see more running plays then we have in a number of years.

Re: Mike Freeman CBS Twitter

Look, I appreciate just how much talent and effort and quality of play we have been watching around here. I very much appreciate as a fan the work ethic of our entire organization. We have had some success and nothing is taken for granted, which I think is the trait I love about this culture the most.

This is the last post I am going to make about what we could become. This person says...oooo, look out they are pissed this year. And oooo, they have revenge on their mind, one exec says this, another says fear the Patriots.

Guess what, other teams are pretty talented too, real talented. We are not dictating ****.

Consistent high quality play and effort, i am gonna go ahead and take that.

I certainly appreciate what we have. After the season is over we can go ahead and give the grade then. Until then, we have a couple games to prove it.

We all know as well as he does that Pats fans find it hard to read his articles and ignore them but by using some positives,he will get clicks on it from the Patriot community.

Obviously it worked.

Yeah, well, in the end we have to read something I guess, but they're better than clicks on the Horrald (T-o-m-a-s-s) or HSPN.

These are the same talking curly haired muffin heads that will say the coach is RUNNING up the score on some hapless team. Lets just play some real games first before commenting on how scary the team is. Oh, and I hope Shawn-sissy gets a mans haircut soon. Freakin ridiculous looking Shirley Temple nerd. :singing:

Re: Mike Freeman CBS Twitter

I agree that the media is blowing it a little out of proportion after only 2 preseason games. But look at the team as a whole and you'll see there's reason to be excited. We're essentially returning the exact same offense that scored 500+ points in 2010 but we're ADDING Chad Ochocinco, Ridley, and Price to it. Our freshmen tightends who were already amazing last year are also only going to improve. Gronkowski has looked godly in camp, Hernandez is his usual big playmaking self. And adding Ridley to the mix, hey our running game is going to be even stronger. Our 1,000 yard rusher in BJGE is definitely going to get a competent backup.

And that's JUST on the offensive side of the ball. As if the ability to put up about 30 points per game isn't enough, the Pats have made dramatic changes on defense. Even without Haynesworth and Shaun Ellis, the Pats 1st team defense embarrassed and dominated the Bucs first team offense. Mayo is blossoming into a major star as BB gives him even more freedom to roam in this defense. We're returning Leigh Bodden to the secondary and adding a tall rangy CB in Dowling to handle taller wide receivers. The defense might be the most exciting change, especially with its new more aggressive packages that really CAN RUSH the QB.

Could it all fall apart? Sure it's the NFL. Injuries *knock on wood* are the great equalizer. But barring a lot of major injuries to our key players, this team isn't just built to win in 2011, it is built to DOMINATE. And that's the kind of team you need to bring home the Lombardi. That's what every Pats fan ultimately wants to see this season. Let's bring home the hardware boys!

The Patriots scored 518 points last season, which was most in the league (nobody else even reached 450), and 589 points in 2007. If they fall somewhere between the two of them, and show some improvement at DE and CB, that's certainly reason for opposing teams to have some fear.

I never paid attention to this Clown before and i'm not going to start Now. He should stick to baseball.

Dumbass you forgot to say that at the first sign weakness, the first bump in the road, the first time the team doesn't play well Shaunassey will trash the team like hes done in the past. Again hes a baseball writer, he never covered football until a year or two ago.
