Gee, Dabruinz, I watched it live on a TV set also!!!! I'm betting most every poster here did also!!!

You really want to continue this practical joke?

Stop it, you're killing us with the comedy. There is nothing equivalent to being inside the stadium and watching the game with your own eyes from a seat you paid for. The room with a tv set in the bowels of the stadium with the opportunity to walk on the empty field after the game is not an equivalent. The fact that you are spending time forwarding such a ridiculous argument is bizarre.

The only joke is the people arguing that these people should be getting more than what they've already been offered.

Umm, btw, the field wasn't empty when they got to walk on it. They were allowed to go onto the field immediately after the game.

The only thing that is ridiculous is people like yourself who feel that what the NFL offered isn't enough. That the NFL should, somehow, compensate people above and beyond what even top cruise lines don't do..

It's seriously ridiculous.

Are you really that stupid? I already said it was the TV sets.
That was my point, genius.

So you pull an article out of your arse that has wrong information and you think that you are somehow vindicated. Did you even bother to look at the fact that it was posted an HOUR before the actual kick-off. And at just about the time the league moved them INSIDE the stadium.. And it wasn't updated.

I said that I had heard differently. That there were conflicting reports. You asserted that there were not. I supplied one. QED.

When used that way, spoiled doesn't mean perishable. Nice try though.
Reality is that there were a plethora of things that "spoiled" their experience. Much of it was the weather. Something that NO ONE can control.

Would ephemeral make you feel better? The NFL could control not having their shyte together.

No. The NFL Shouldn't cover their costs. It's no different that going on a cruise in the Caribbean during Hurricane season. If the cruise isn't up to snuff due to weather, the cruise line doesn't cover the cost of your hotel before or after the cruise. Nor do they cover the airfare to get there.
Sorry, but that's a poor analogy. There's a difference between an act of God compared to pure negligence. That's why the aggrieved parties here have a good chance to get punitive damages.

If you want to use a cruise line analogy, a better choice would be the recent Carnival disaster where hundreds of passengers were stranded at sea for a couple days and tugged back to San Diego. Those passengers did get a refund from Carnival of all their expenses, including travel to and from the port.

I never mentioned anything about twhat the NFL should offer. Show me where I did. I have no idea what fair compensation in this matter is.

Honestly, that is neither for me nor the NFL nor Jerry Jones to decide at this point, isn't it? Obviously, a third party (the courts) will do that.

My only contention was your ridiculous "legal-ese" spin that they got to watch the game 'from inside the stadium'.

Now you follow it up by 'they got to go on the field after the game'.

How about the fact that they paid to see the game IN PERSON??????

THAT is what the ticket is for. That may be news to you.

Perhaps next you can start legal briefs and spin doctoring about why second hand smoke is actually nutritious.

The NFL finally got it right.

Amazing that they created a PR clusterfrig for $1 million, or $30k per team!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy cow, these guys are NOT going to be able to handle the CBA negotiations correctly.
