Re: UDFA Bryan Anderson - 6'5 WR from CMU

DOH!

welp...looks like another thirty whacks with the metal lined ruler and an act of contrition

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

Oh, man. Definitely jokes of the year in here. I'm totally loving it! :singing:

Re: Pats sign RB Pat Paschall

Those determinations are fortran ing camp.

VERY good! He could be part of dbase RB package if he's lucky.

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

let's delve more deeply into this "mitigating deceleration" issue

Deceleration = inital speed - final speed / total time taken

ok...now my head hurts

de·cel·er·ate (d-sl-rt)
v. de·cel·er·at·ed, de·cel·er·at·ing, de·cel·er·ates
v.tr.
1. To decrease the velocity of.
2. To slow down the rate of advancement of: measures intended to decelerate the arms buildup.
v.intr.
To decrease in velocity.

After the runner peaks somewhere between 10-15yds they're slowing down, much of the 40 is based on who can speed up the fastest and slow down the slowest

Most RBs don't run 40yds straight so it doesn't matter anyway, initial burst and quickly changing directions is where it's at.

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

man this thread is filled (mainly) with WIN

Seems the Patriots stack is dynamically increasing at runtime.

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

Its getting a bit nerdy

I don't know anything much about Paschall only what I've read but just based on the its likely he will push BJGE very hard for a spot.

Re: Pats sign RB Pat Paschall

I think he runs a 4.54

Ran a 4.69 at the combine, 4.5x at his pro day. Pro days often are run in pretty great conditions, so they aren't really as valid. Still, shows improvement.

His combine number gives him a speed score in the 85 range, his pro day a 96. 100 is average.

At a 4.69, hes really a poor prospect. At 4.54, he's slightly interesting.

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

What would Maroney's 40 time be if you considered what he does on the
football field.

Take 3 steps....
Hop twice
Shuffle to the left
Hop one time.
Go straight into the first tackler.
Fall down.

You forgot fumble.

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

I would pay many Druples to have the SQL to Maroney run downhill consistently and not fumble. He'd be worth his weight in PERLscripts.

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

All these damn jokes are making my head spin. I need a cup of JAVA

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

emmit smith and jerry rice didnt light up the forty. not saying this kid is the next one, but i like the film on him. im hoping he sticks around. its all about football players not track stars.

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

I think you missed a 1/4 turn move before falling down and fumbling.....this is a very funny post...and unfortunately pretty accurate...

I don't know, I have a feeling this guy is going to pan out.

Re: Pats sign UDFA RB Pat Paschall

ALGOL ahead and admit he does tend to Blaise through the line, but ADA say that he needs to stop fumbling the COBOL if he wants a shot at making the team instead of watching the games Oberon his couch.

I'm sorry if this post was hard to understand, but I type with a LISP.
