A very simple Bottom Line on Our OL

I would still see a Gunner as much more likely than a Returner to get such special accommodation.

OK, so I didn't get the capitalization error.

fair enough

I guess that I disagree some.

There are several backup players who are on the team because they play ST's. They may be the emergency last position player, but they really are here to play ST's.

Absent injuries, I don't expect any of these ST positions to play many position reps.
#3 RB
#6 WR
#4 ILB
#4 EDGE
#5 CB
#6 CB
#4 S
#5 S

Include the 3 specialists and we have 11 players who are primarily or wholly STers.
I have a dual-keyboard language setup. German Initial-capitalizes ALL NOUNS. Sorry for autocorrect confusion.

I Don’t disagree with you;

it was the OP who said we could cut down if we only considered the 3 core as the ST-only players. I was discussing within that paradigm.

Then trying to differentiate between Gr (my new abbreviation for gunner), PR, and KR by assuming the particular body-frame/athleticism for their base position would help drive if they were usable at only particular ST roles. Most specifically that WR & thinner DBs were unlikely to be KR in the short KO modern NFL..
