why wouldnt lebron want to play with the green? kg and pp will still be on the team and the celtics will have the cap room. ray allen is gone in two years. every team wants lebron but every team cant fit his contract under the cap.

it all sounds great. but does he really want to sign a long term to only play with pp and kg for what will most likely be two good years and then they'll start their decline on their careers if they don't do so sooner.

hey i'd love to have lebron here, but you're dreaming.

i wouldn't doubt seeing in LA or NY... bigtime markets. i can't see him signing a long term deal with an old club.

What home town discount? Posey was with the team for ONE YEAR genius, why would he take a 'home town' discount, plus he took a huge pay cut to come here in the first place. You might have also missed it, but he was a vital part of a recent Celtics championship.

lol your not making any sense. using your logic why would lebron want to play in newyork with that pathetic franchise. the celtics have a legit shot at signing him. he will have a good shot at a title with the green while pp and kg are there.

lol. he will have to sign a one or two year deal to come here. Because i don't see him coming here long term when pp and kg are on the tail end of their careers. i don't think he's sign a 1 or 2 year deal. i think he's going to a long term max deal to another team. New York might clear out alot of salary by then if they ever get smart

lol you dont see it but i do. i think danny ainge does to. he wont have to sign a one or two year deal. thats just pure speculation on your part. when lebron comes up for free agency the celtics will have a top level salary slot available to land lebron or another big name free agent. thats a fact. he would be more likely to get a long term deal because like you said pp and kg will be around for two or three after lebron would sign. thats also speculation. kg or pp might re up and have a reduced role. to say the celtics dont have a chance to land him is just silly.
