Default Rondo Triple Double: 17 Assts, 16 Pts, 13 Rbs, 3 Stls

ESPN - Indiana vs. Boston - Box Score - December 03, 2008

Rondo is starting to light it up, and is going to be an elite star right around the time our Big Three start to age, which will keep us strong for the next 5 years.

Other interesting notes:
- Celtics are 18 and 2 right now.
- Perkins scored 16 points by shooting only 6 times.

There is a good chance that once the current 'big three' retire, with one good (ok great) acquisition the Celtics can still compete for the title. Look at the stats last night of all the starters. Who are you going to stop? The weakest link on the floor last night was Perkins, and he was 16,10.

The C's are set up well for the next several years, we'll be a perennial contender till at least 2011. Perkins' 16 points on 6 total shots is impressive.

I still cannot believe Doc Rivers won an NBA championship and is now guiding an 18-2 team, but I guess the NBA is more about chemistry and the elite stars than in any other sport... Doc is doing a great job steering the ship.

Doc is to the Celtics what Francona is to the Red Sox.

I think they have to wait until Pierce and Garnett retire before they have cap room. A number of really good free agents are available in addition to his highness. Don't know who is available two years later.

most of the bench players on the celtics could be starters on other teams in the NBA......having good depth on the bench will bring the celtics another world title in 09

Why would LeBron play for NYC? He's tired of carrying crap franchises by himself, and the Celtics are royalty who he may be attracted to, especially if the KG gives him a call.

That's a HUGE stretch. The reason the Celtics are so good is their starting 5, not their bench. Their bench only scored 11 points in that game. Name the players on the Celtics bench that would be solid starters for other NBA teams...
