That isn't such a huge investment that we can't draft a WR in the top 3 rounds this year depending how they feel about KT and Boyce long term. We had no choice, for a variety of reasons, to being a couple in last year but we didn't use two #1s on WR.
I want that Rutgers guy named Coleman. Isn't he a projected 2nd round guy?

Good point. Using a trade value chart, 59 (Dobson) and 102 (Boyce) adds up to 402 points, or the 50th overall pick. So all we really spent on WRs last year was the equivalent of a late 2nd round pick.

He's currently the 17th ranked WR on CBS and projected in rounds 3-4, showing how deep this class really is at WR.

He's big but kind of lumbers and his hands aren't that good. Not so sure about him.
Problem with drafting a guy is you don't know if he'll be smart enough to learn the playbook. That's a problem with signing a FA though too I guess. Hopefully a FA would have enough experience and you'd have some better feedback on his intelligence.
I disagree, WR is a position of need.
Re-read what I said, I said that even though we double dipped last year it was a small enough investment that we can take another WR this year depending on how they feel about the rookies internally.
WR I like in 2014 so far (Not necessarily for NE):
Sammy Watkins, 1
Mike Evans, 1
Marquise Lee, 1
Kelvin Benjamin, 1
Allen Robinson, 2
Martavis Bryant, 3
Jarred Abbrederis, 3-4
Donte Moncrief, 3-4
TJ Jones, 7
Jeremy Gallon (Great value for Pats), 7
Dri Archer, UDFA
I've yet to really watch Cooks much so that's why i left him off, heard great stuff though, and I like the LSU guys too, don't love them but you can put them up here, they'd fit right inDecent list, however, aside from Watkins, my list starts with Brandin Cooks and the two LSU guys, particularly Landry.
