Content Post Words on things I watched, read & heard II

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.
"There's a lot of movements still to go. I think it would be inappropriate for me to comment on some positions, some situations that are really still in the process of, that are not final point yet, that there's some process that's involved or going on, and some of that I know will happen. Some of that, I don't know what'll happen because it might be dependent on other things in the league. So that's really kind of where we are here for today."

So you're still working on the Garoppolo deal, then?

The last line ("So that's really kind of where we are here for today.") makes English teachers' heads explode. It's almost a response meant to trigger linguists ("some of that I know will happen.").

Remembering, of course, that BB is an English teacher's son ...

Yeah, I believe Sehorn (who was actually pretty good). Or Edelman lol.
Sehorn is the last guy listed at cornerback to do so. Edelman and Steve Gregory (2009 with the Chargers) are two guys who played a decent amount of slot corner while being listed at a position other than cornerback.

Brady says rules protecting players are hurting the game - he seems to feel it encourages sloppy play (and so takes away some of what makes him so good):

Here's the hit on Fields that was referenced:

(surprised he didn't come off the field to be checked after that hit)

Brady absolutely bodied that point. Terrible decisions, like QBs hanging their receivers out to dry (hi, Peyton), are actually being rewarded at the expense of the defense and the game.
