Wild Card Weekend: Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans

Right, but take the Patriots next game out of the equation. Of the three, who do you want the Broncos playing next week? Indy, Baltimore, or Cinci. I am hard pressed to put Cinci anywhere but third. If Cinci wins, the Broncos get them.

Put it more bluntly. Would you rather have the winner of today's game or tomorrow's? If you answer is the former, that can only happen if Houston wins.

I would put Cincy at #1 or #2 as the team who can beat Denver. The Bengals were really a 105 kick off return given up against the Broncos from potentially beating them about a month ago. Gresham exploited the Broncos' defense (6 catches for 108 yards) . You can exploit the Broncos' defense up the seam. The Bengals and Ravens the only potential competitors with a TE to exploit that (Pitta had 125 yards and 2 TDs vs. the Broncos). Their defense is good enough to give Manning some fits (he had two INTs in that game).

Marvin Lewis teams are some of the dumbest teams. What a stupid penalty.

Yes, but Baltimore is a playoff tested team with a defense capable of shutting down a strong passing offense. Cincy would walk into Mile High like a deer in headlights and get slaughtered. Their offense is not prime time. It would be one of those frustrating games where they continually settle for field goals, play conservative, an make critical mistakes.

Most likely Baltimore would lose, too, but their chances are much better. That team is tough in big games.

There is also the question of bad weather. If it is cold and snowy Baltimore has experience playing in that. Peyton, not so much.

is this a u-haul game for cincy...what the hell???

marvin lewis needs to be fired, unless BJGE is hurt

3 carries all half? and he's getting yards

that's dumb

i know the plays are 49 for texans and only 17 for cincy, but jesus.....use the guy who is actually producing!

Marvin Lewis should have been fired three years ago. This team is talented to be a Super Bowl favorite if they were coached better. Lewis' gameplans on both sides of the ball look like they were written in thw 1980s.

The Bengals OL is getting destroyed - Dalton has no time and is running for his life.

And here I was thinking the Bengals should hope for big plays on special teams.... A sucky KO return after the offsides, and that sloppy penalty should put that thought to bed.

Looks like the Pats are going to be facing the Texans the way the Bengals are playing. I am fine with whichever team comes to Foxboro.

the first half is one thing...but to get the ball to start the 2nd half and look even worse with the playcalls...well...I thought Lewis should have been canned five years ago so...I mean, this is the worst prepared team, offensively, I've ever seen in the playoffs.

The bad part is they made the playoffs so no chance. But they could give the man an offensive coordinator worth a damn.

Lewis is no genius, but he keeps his teams pretty humble and competitive. Just missing that tip of the spear. They have no edge.

I don't like the Bungles VS Broncos scenario.Lewis can't coach
himself out of a wet paper bag. 0-3 in PO so far.

And they share a league with the JEST.

Well they were the third worst line in the NFL in terms of Pass protection

"pirouette" is a term that should never ever be used in football...

Jay Gruden is considered a very good O.C. and is being mentioned as a head coaching candidate.

The sad thing is most of the league has figured out the Texans' offense except for the Bengals. You take away the play action and they are horrible. The Bengals seem to bite on the play action on every passing play.

looks like we are playing houston
