They always seem to break out theirs
A uniform thread that's not during the offseason?!
Now the list of things I have seen includes everything.
Of course I'm talking about Pat the Patriot era
@Actual Pats Fan won't have a strong opinion on this.
Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are more likely to concede they made bad decisions in the past before Kraft does anything about this.
I think the facts back me up here.
Totally agree...I hope they start using the OLD uniforms more....
I'm joking @Actual Pats Fan
Didn't I read somewhere that the NFL made the Patriots throwback uniform harder to do with the strict helmet rules? The Dolphins wore their throwback uniforms with their regular (current) uniform helmets. If the Patriots didn't have such different helmets, they would probably wear the throwbacks more often.
You are correct.
As cool as they were, why would Kraft want to go back to the uniforms that represented losing ways under different ownership? Can you really blame him?
The latest ones represent winning, as they’ve gone to 9 SBs. They also help him make lots of money via licensing agreements with players like Brady who often lead in overall sales. At this point, the jersey is iconic. He’d have to be a ***** to change it now.
Not sure how reliable this guy is but Pats Twitter is freaking out and seems to trust him...
I feel nostalgic about that uniform. THAT would be a good throwback choice.
Sounds like Dallas will wear their throwback inspired color rush jerseys. They outta wear them vs the Giants too in color rush. Guess we’ll know soon if this rumor is true.
Is the red number version the original version?
Yes. Kraft changed the numbers to white after fans sitting in the nosebleeds complained they couldn't read them.
These throwbacks represent new hope, hunger, bittersweet heartbreak...
The woulda, coulda, shoulda era...love it.
Ah interesting. Red numbers on blue looks bad anyways.
Apparently Patriots wanted to do Pat Patriot but league said no. Wonder if we’ll get new 90’s inspired merch.
Those weren’t their current helmets.
Hell f***ing YES!
Why not alternate silver pants on the road?
What is the problem with the “Pat Patriot” helmets?
Should occasionally wear the white pants from the Bucs game a few years ago.
Second helmets aren’t allowed. It’s a “safety” precaution.
Separate names with a comma.
