Why is everyone so afraid of the Jets?

great...now how about Wall St. when it opens on Monday...which way...up or down???

The only thing that scares me about the Jets, is that Rex Ryan gets fatter each and every time I see them.

Okay, I'll play along....

"The only thing that scares me about the Jets, is that somehow Cromartie manages to father several more children"

Who are now Jest fans for life.....their poor souls.......

Because the two teams are going in opposite directions. Right now they're a better team. Thanks to some poor personnel decisions, we have a weak secondary and LB corps. The Jets seem to play better in these big games and we tend to struggle. Rex tends to out coach and out adjust BB. If we get behind early and Brady throws a pick or two, it's going to be a long game.

The Jets are on a roll with wins over Miami, San Diego and the Bills at Buffalo. No reason to think that changes much against a Patriots that has wins over 2 of 3 of those teams. Be afraid, be very afraid.......or not. A team to fear at this point in the regular season would somebody like Baltimore or the Packers who would probably crush the Pats.

Not so with the Jets. This one is a game in the low 20s or teens. These teams look pretty equal in terms of who they beat and who they lost to over the first eight games. Both have wins over Dallas, Miami and San Diego - not really a very big deal - none are elite NFL teams. They diverge in their match-ups with the Bills and Raiders - two good teams that both went 1-1 against. Head-to-head goes to the home team so far. Hard to take much from this other than they match up pretty well against each other.

The Jets actually have more to lose with a loss at home thereby ceding all tie-breakers to the Patriots. The Pats could lose, go on to beat Miami and Buffalo to go 4-2 in the AFC East and get to 11-5 with wins against the sisters of the poor on their schedule. The best remaining team is the Eagles and they are one loss from being out of the playoffs already and damaged goods at 3-5 with wins over the Redskins, Rams and Cowboys (the Cowboys are underachievers of the highest order.) It is not inconceivable that the Pats run the table after Sunday.

If the Patriots can grind one out as Vince Wilfork is suggesting, we can get optimistic quickly.

Cause they punks.

Jets are playing well and their D seems to do a good job vs Brady and the Pats are not playing that well.

Pats have a good shot at winning this game still. Not an easy matchup.

I really hope we beat these guys.....they really need a good beat down to detail any good progress they think they are making.

Beating them in their house in front of their fans will be awesome!

WOuld be nice....listen to what he clown Clayton has said

For three years, New York Jets coach Rex Ryan keeps promising Super Bowls and touting his Jets as the best team in the AFC East.

Week 10 is turning out to be "Put Up or Shut Up Week." Ryan can back up his words if the Jets can beat the New England Patriots on Sunday night.

Back up his words? So this is the superbowl? This if for the division?
