What worries you the most about the Panthers game?

The readiness level of Alan Branch
The health of Hightower

Tell me that Branch is finally ready to play, and that Hightower is a full go, and I'll be very optimistic about the game.

Cam Newton’s post-game attire

Facing a mobile qb

Better to get used to it now as most of the potential SB opponents have mobile quarterbacks. Ryan is really the only pocket passer of the lot. Wilson, Prescott, and Rodgers can all hurt you with their feet.

The Panthers offense has been absolutely stagnant for the first three weeks of the season and, even though they have a mobile QB and the team's game plan against them is curious, they do not have the weapons the Texans have. Set the edge against Newton and focus on McCaffery and you should be able to shut them down.

You can't rule out the possibility that Kelvin Benjamin might take this week to lose 30 pounds and remember how to catch a football.

I am in the villages. There are a couple of bars in spanish springs that sometimes stay open late for sporting events if they know enough regulars want to watch. (One place stayed open late recently so 6 of us could watch usa soccer.) I'll check with those managers sometime this week to see if they expect to be open next Thursday.
Awesome! Thanks! Inlaws are Mallory, we were looking at RJ Gators and Cody's....

Well our defense has giving up 330 passing yards per game. Newton's not the most accurate QB so maybe we can hold him under that number.

Well this week i been hearing how overrated cam newton is. He will look great against us and then people will jump back on the bandwagon. I think he' s a tier 3 QB

The defense.

I hope to see improved communications on defense and consistent play. Devin McCourty is being paid like one of the best safeties in the NFL but his play has been subpar in 2017. I would also like to see Alan Branch play like he did last year.

The Patriots will have a difficult path to a Super Bowl if the defense doesn’t improve dramatically.

The Panthers have Newton, McCaffery, Benjamin, and Funchess. While that doesn't exactly look like an offensive powerhouse group, they certainly have the capacity to make some plays, especially if the Panthers' defense holds us to 24-27. Most here had the same type of thinking in last week's game, and some even went as far as making fun of N.Orleans' skill position players in week two. In week one, the popular thought was that if you stop Hill and Kelce, you win the game easily.

This is the week that the defense should improve, but forgive me for being a bit skeptical until I see it happen, and that's not even bringing up the concerns about the type of scheme they may choose to deploy against Newton.

Panthers also don't have anywhere near the familiarity that the Texans coaching staff has with the Pats.

Crennel
Vrabel
Izzo
Welker

That's something that somehow has gone completely under the radar regarding that game.

The Patriots really need to rediscover their 1987 Mike Tyson form when it comes to home games. If they can’t knock a team senseless, they seem to be gradually losing confidence and getting outcoached. Every rational fiber of my brain says to trust in the system, but I don’t know if they’ve knocked off the rust yet. That and Belichick seems to be tinkering with the defense like a grinning 7-year old nerd discovering chess.
