It's the "newer fans" that haven't sat on their hands & blankets to keep their ass from freezing off from metal seats.

They have suffered through 1-15 nor were there for the start. (I can still remember Adam, Bill, A Smith etc celebrating) So they don't have that connection that others have from years of tailgating and bleeding Boston sports.

I'v witnessed magic for almost 20 years.

We'll never see this consistency, innovation & success again.

I'll let the "new fans" troll titans boards & get furious over BSPN click bait.

At least we have the 2 most experienced RBs in regards to our system on the field tonight. White & Lewis should be more than enough.

It’s very simple, you say this crap all the time and you are always wrong so no one other than the crybabies you hang around this site with buys it. Years and years of being wrong destroyed any credibility you may or may not have had at one time. You, illegal, Triumph, ViperGTS and the rest of the crybaby crowd wanted Brady gone in 2014, said they were at best a mediocre team early this season, and went into full blown conniptions when your binky was traded, so why the hell would anyone with any sense at all listen to anything you say?

And even if Brady plays lights out and they win another Lombardi you have no intention of atopping the shrieking, and if anything you will ramp it up even more next season.

In short nothing he does matters to you, all that matters is that your binky is in SF.

His posts in the Super Bowl game thread last year were a Tour de Force in sheer embarrassment.

Sorry but my "internet message board" credibility isn't high on my list of priorities...is it a priority of yours?

Last 5 games last year vs this year for Brady

Brady last 5 games of 2016
    116/176
    1353
    10 TD
    1 INT

Brady last 5 games of 2017
    106/173
    1203
    6 TD
    5 INT

Completions and Yards are similair. It's the TDs and INTs that differ.

Which could absolutely be argued that it was affected by guys missing. 1 INT was him throwing to a guy that just got to town. 2 other INTs you could argue if Gronk isn't suspended for that game they probably don't happen.

Here is the final 8 games of the regular season 2016 vs 2017

    2016
    193/298 (64.7%)
    2235 yards
    14 TD
    2 INT

    2017
    179/272 (65.8%)
    2026 yards
    16 TD
    6 INT

    Amen to that.

I remember the early 90's when we were just the laughingstock of the NFL, and I just have this vivid memory of MacPherson running onto the field with a rolled up paper in his hand, and I was thinking that he was just doing that in an attempt to make it look like he knew what he was doing, after he let us all down by making us think he really had turned the team around the previous year, but then went 2-14. Now that was a heartbreaker after that damning 1-16 season.

And as you say, we'll never see this degree of supreme competency again. It has been an extraordinary blessing for New England to have this unparalleled reign of domination for so long.

    Mariota running:

This is interesting. Will this be a game plan feature?

In his fist 2 seasons in 27 Mariota ram an average of 3.5 times per game for 22 yards.

The first 4 games if this year he ran 5/29 them got injured.
Over the next 10 games he averaged 3/13.6 (more than 3 carries only twice)

In the last 2 games he has averaged 9/53.

It seems like Mariota is learning that running a lot isn’t smart, but in big games will run a lot ( which ironically probably hurts his team)

My instinct would be that the game plan will call for him to run a lot on read option keepers and escaping the rush. I could easily see 10+ carries, especially as we get a lead and they have to abandon the rb and throw a lot, leading to scrambles.
If Mariota is running a lot we are probably dominating the game.

It's often hard to believe he is a NEP fan based upon how constantly miserable he has been during this four year stretch where we have won two Super Bowls and are three wins away from another.

Last 5 games. 1 bad game plus:

    82/130 63% 970 7.46 5/3 4 wins, by 20+ and a win on the road at a 13-3 team.

Anyone who thinks brady has played poorly for a period of time is delusional and using one bad game to include in a small sample to make an argument they for some bizarre reason wish was true.

Someday brady will no longer be the best QBs in the nfl. Someday he will no longer be in he nfl. That day is not imminent so you will ha e to wait a while to rejoice.

No point in arguing with a brick wall. I've put the comparisons to this year and last year. Very easy to see there is not that much difference on how Brady ended last year vs this year other than having a few more INTs.

It’s just disgusting that the GOAT is trashed during an mvp season by his own “fans”.

I guarantee you that poster runs around bragging to his friends and acting like he’s better than them because “his team” won 5 SBs. I need to use the ignore button more liberally.

IMO - All this "easy win" is silly. Any given Sunday (in this case Saturday)...

Titans are a good team. Otherwise why are they in the divisional playoffs?

Patriots must stop the run and contain the QB in the pocket. Let his arm try to beat the Patriots...

Travis Kelce getting injured + Refs incorrectly ruling a ball wasn't fumbled + Revis deflecting a pass back to Mariota
