Feeling good about this game today. What I wished to happen today happened. Now it's time for the icing on the cake to top off a great week.

Side Note: My son's flag football team played the top team in their league this week. The coach put my son in at QB for an end of second half drive. They were down two scores. He drove them down the field in a clinic like fashion. Every pass hit his receivers hands. A couple of throws were 4th down clutch as Shyt throws. And they scored to bring it to a 2 point deficit. With 3 minutes left in the game his teammate intercepted the opposing QB. They put my son back in as QB (team asked for it) and he drove them the length of the field again. With 2 seconds left on the clock he threw a pass into the endzone which hit the receivers hands but the defender made a nice play and knocked it out.

I've never been at a flag football game where the parents on the bleachers were so pumped up.

Coolest thing was that every kid from both teams were smiling.

Anyways Go Pats.
Why would some one dislike this post? Are we back to vengeful repping again? Jeez!!!

I'm not following your logic here. Could you please explain?

I'm guessing that he'd rather see Pittsburgh stay home for the postseason. The problem with this is that they'll overtake the tiebreaker with the NYJ should all three teams win out, and I don't see any way in hell how the Jets would win out anyway.

anyone know who wins tie breaker between pitt-jets if they both run the table?. Would be same conf record and they don't play each other.

According to NBC sports after the game analysis, Pittsburgh jumps ahead and the NYJ are the odd team out, should all 3 teams win their last three games.

The NFC story is already pretty clear:
  • Three division leaders and two 8-5 trailers will clearly make the playoffs.
  • One of the 8-5 trailers has a good shot at winning its division.
  • One terrible division is still up for grabs.

Don't think Shula would be cheering for us as I think I read somewhere his nephew or something is on the Panthers and wants them to go undefeated, so that he can say only teams coached by a Shula can go undefeated.

Mercury on the other hand would become a huge pats fan.

It's Don Shula's son, Mike, who is the OC of the Carolina Panthers.

Don't you have some crow to eat?
No actually. With respect to the teams chances I have been very positive on here. However, I wanted to call out the fact that others had mentioned that the Broncos and Bengals would start to lose games a while back and I was definitely a bit more anxious about having to deal with there being multiple undefeated teams. Every time the Broncos kept winning freak games I was quite upset because as you know every single game matters.... often you win your "seeding" by one game or a tie breaker. So I was giving props to the posters (and my brother) who kept saying those teams would lose some games at some point. Should have been logical when looking at Denver's early run of luck.

In terms of eating crow I would happily if you can tell me which thing? I was bullish on the team even when they lost those two games. The Gronk think might the fair one as I was pretty upset about his 100% comment. Anyway I am the way I am, long time fan.. I go crazy for all our teams and I literally go crazxy during these games. Today I am feeling pretty good. I need to find that Math thing again because our odds for a bye must through the roof now with the Bengals and Broncos both gauranteed a 4th loss still. Denver could lose their Division its possible with KC playing the way they are, and Denver has Pitt on road then Cinci (no Dalton though)

Yeah.... After I'd posted my question here, I saw the following post of his in another thread, and it explains his position:

@ashley1992 Told you the Raiders would do it. Though I'll admit I was not all that confident at halftime.

Now we must turn our attention to hating Pittsburgh again. They did what we needed them to do. Now, I think we must hope for them to drop a few. I would hate to see that offense in a playoff situation.
