NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 9: Other NFL games

I don’t want to hear that there is no way the Pats could win either game vs the Bills. If the Jags can beat them, the Pats can win both games.
Any given Sunday is there for any matchup, but that's not what people usually mean when they talk about teams and their chances.

That being said, there are no dominant teams in the AFC.

BLAHHHHHHHH

Vikes pick of Jackson!!!

Vikings interception!!!!

I'll be happy if they can steal one of the two.

Sure but a lot of people chock both those games as losses. The Bills showed today they are not an unbeatable team. They may be the best team in the AFC, but this year that doesn’t mean much.

HUGE game next week for the Pats. 3 of the next 4 games are extremely tough. Browns, Bills, Titans.. Those 3 games will determine if the Pats make the Play-offs.

Falcons win 27-25
After almost matching their Super Bowl record 19 point blown 4th quarter lead. Today’s blown 4th quarter lead was only 18 points

Hey Mods, Why is it when I wanna quote someone, the forum interface puts in the last 3 quotes? I wanted to quote some one in this thread but it adds the last quotes from the game day thread.

I'd go far as saying if we go 2-1 I can see us winning the division

BTW, people say the Pats haven’t beaten anyone, but who have the Bills beaten? The Dolphins twice, Texans, Chiefs, and WFT. They have lost to the Steelers, Titans, and Jags. They have no wins against a good team.

I think we can beat them. I don't think we will,, But I think we can.

There has only been one unbeatable team, which is kind of the point. I understand where you're coming from, and I don't completely disagree, but using a bad loss as proof of something beyond "Any given Sunday" is usually a recipe for predictive failure. In this case, I'd note that the problem was a lack of scoring for the #1 in scoring Bills, despite their having played against the #28 team in points allowed. That's not generally going to be an oft-repeated outcome.

BAL-MIN: Guess we can't have it ALL go our way...

This is amazing. There are no teams to be afraid of in the AFC. The Pats could beat or at least be competitive with anyone. I’m sure Pittsburgh and Baltimore fans are feeling the same way.

Looks like the Ravens might win this one

Pats remaining schedule is the Bills twice, Cleveland, Tennessee, 3 teams with losing records and 1 team that's .500 (currently).

12 men on the field penalty puts the Ravens in FG range. SMH

Illegal formation. How you like that Hard Bawl??? LOL
