NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 9: Other NFL games

Oh, look -- Green Bay lost. Doesn't matter, though, as long as Aaron got to have his say. I wonder if he watched the game or spent the day doing battle with those woke media bastards.

FU Aaron, for gifting KC that game. Mahomes had yet another INT negated by a defensive penalty that had nothing to do with the pick.

The greasy-hair liar probably contracted on purpose, to stick it to the GB front office before a big game and also show the world that Love sucks. And he does suck.

Fantastic play by Maholmes to ice it. Aaron Rodgers must be loving every minute of it, there's no way they would have lost this game with him and that's obviously all that matters to him. It's going to haunt his team bigtime in that NFC race though, weak loss.

Yup specially since they face Seattle next week and Wilson will be back

I am hoping so much that the NFL makes Rodgers miss another week.

Now he’s even more crazy.
I find it somewhat ironic that Love is doing so badly in what little action he has seen.... it may scare GB management into keeping Rodgers come hell or high water.... They should call his bluff. I don't think Rodgers will retire and this year has proven that even when he is pissed off, he can still perform....

GB management seems to think it does no wrong. I'd be very surprised to see them eat crow and ask Aaron to come back for another season.

Good game tonight- Tits and Rams. Too bad Von Miller isn't active tonight. Miller and Donald coming from opposite ends is going to be downright scary.

Sure seems a lot better than the alternative. They'll be eating a lot of crow at 4-13 next year. Besides, they don't need to "ask" Rodgers anything. He's under contract for another 2 years. They can create a situation where if he wants to play, he plays for them.

Now he’s even more crazy.

He still doesn’t have that much leverage, and Green Bay didn’t exactly restructure his deal to make it easy to trade him. They’d still have a $27M dead cap hit if they trade him, though that number is $46M if they don’t. So his leverage
  • is being a douche (already does that on a daily basis)
  • refusing to restructure.
  • threatening retirement again (the new agreement does make it so GB can’t recoup already paid signing bonus due to retirement.)

Post-June 1st, they could defer 8M of that dead cap into 2022, but that limits trade partners.

2023 is a void year, so the only real question is what happens in 2022. See my post before this one. But yes, I agree, he’s not going anywhere if Jordan Love sucks, and it looks like he sucks.

Ehh....

You might well be right, but Rodgers doesn't play special teams, and the reason the Packers have been winning is the defense turning the ball over, which it didn't do tonight.

Without Henry, I think the Rams will win by at least two scores. I think the Titans may suck without Henry. Tannehill has looked like the Miami Tannehill a lot this year.

Sounds like a DVD I found in a bargain bin.
