Man, I love this board...Rodgers goes down, somebody mentions Flynn and immediately there's a "Patriots suck...remember when Flynn tore the Pats apart two years ago?...we are REAL BAD!!!! I wish we had everybody else on every other team because our players suck!!! ..."....the more success this team has over the years the worse this fanbase becomes with these whiny "yeah ...but...we're BADDDD!!!" takes every friggin day. Dobson toirches the corner and the safety yesterday for a long TD and somebody immediately posts "yeah, well, that was OK but we NEED FAST RECEIVERS!!!! He's not fast enough...waaaah waaah". The friggin kid ran a 4.37 at the combine and BURIED two Pitt secondary players and THIS INGRATE has to torch it with this crud observation...

I wish people were required to list their true age with each post they make. That would help put a lot of this crapola in proper context.

Agreed.

Trestman's system is further proof that it can be run with a smart QB who doesn't make a lot of mistakes. McCown is that type of QB. Cutler takes a lot of chances because of his arm strength, so his technique and mechanics aren't always sound.

If McCown keeps playing well, Cutler will sit for sure until he's fully healthy. It's the smart play.

Well, when you think about it, look at what's happened to the NFL since Timmy left: Incognito, unusual rash of serious injuries, Goodell run rampant, multiple London games, coaches dropping like flies, Ryan brothers belching and farting, etc. A savior is needed.

Let me just say, after being a Pats fan all these years, that Bill Belichick is the greatest coach of this generation HANDS DOWN. These fans have no idea what they're seeing. For THIS Team to be 7-2 with these KEY,CRUCIAL injuries, with all this media firestorm coverage about Ahern, with the new rule changes and the constant, unrelenting media HATRED aimed at him on a personal level, I am just flabbergasted. This team SHOULD be 2-7. You give this team to Tony Dungy, they limp to the finish 2-14.

The Pats could even be 8-1 if the typical NY screw job didn't rob them of the chance to compete fairly. I stated for years ad nauseum (for which I apologize) about the NY factor, the need for the biggest media market in the country to have THEIR "bestest gweatest super-starest, only NY-est" teams pimped prominently across the country. Recently the Ecry led Giants were their "champions!!!" but now they have turned to Blubbagutz DeBigmouthyan and the Rats because the G-Men have lost any sense of chemistry. So, instead of late wild card runs on the back of a string of improbable non-calls, no calls by the G men, they're going back to the "three missed Charger chip shot FG's" tough guy Cryanette act....and if you can't see the invisible hand of God(ell) at work here, you're not looking. "Pushing the pile!!!!"...yeah, say, was that called again this week?...No??... will it EVER BE CALLED AGAIN???...well, if ESPN needs more segments to guffaw and hardy har har about how Belichick got "outcoached!!!!" I suppose it will...the next time the situation presents itself.

He is the greatest coach of this generation and should be revered , extolled and treated with the respect that his accomplishments deserve. Instead, we are all subjected to obtuse, moronic, bigoted sideshow acts from the likes of Tom Jackson,Shannon Sharpe, Chris Carter and scribes like Colin Cowturd and Jason Whitlock promoted by a corporate structure that has long tolerated sexism, racism, classism, yellow journalism and overt libels borne of ignorant rumor mongering.

I sincerely hope that when he is done with THIS part of his career and life path, that he writes the tell all book that burns these goddyamed scumbags down once and for all.

Guess I was wrong, pretty good performance by Josh McCown. Hats off to him. 3-way tie on top of the nfc north. Adds some meaning to that thanksgiving game.
