Thoughts around the league:
- We got to pay close attention to that Indy-SD game tomorrow night. SD win would help alot as the Colts are on pace with us for the 2 seed currently.
- Keep an eye on Pittsburgh. As bad as they were early on, they have been in every game and seemingly look better each week. Not that far back in a poor division but with 4 L's it still doesn't look great for them. Looking forward to their match with Baltimore next week.
- Wonder if Foles keeps his job, certainly deserves it thus far IMO.
- Cincinatti keeps their momentum from last week's big win over us. Wasn't pretty but a win is a win. Certainly in the driver's seat for the AFCN with the Ravens losing. Cleveland's luck is running out, they have a good team overall IMO but won't survive with absolute crap at QB. If I were them I'd have looked into Freeman when he was available or trade for either Mallet or a stopgap and hope for Hoyer to come back strong.
- Can't help but root for KC even though they are against us in the AFC race. What's strange though is they have done this several times dating back to the early 90's and have had a strong defense, strong running game, and an average QB each time. Same result this year? Probably, but if it might keep Denver from winning that division maybe we should root for them.
- Seattle and SF should be strong contenders again. NFC is pretty top heavy once again with Seattle, SF, NO but the rest of the conference looks rather weak. Detroit is quietly tied for first place with Chicago.
- Patriots won today
