Agreed, other than the 2nd half vs the raiders our offense has had no trouble moving the ball. the main issues preventing us from scoring 13-17 pts per half have been ball security and borregales missing a gimme. And the hope is they only get better with time.

Maybe id save him for a clutch situation as a wrinkle the defense wont be ready for, we haven’t been good in those. End of Miami game we couldn’t get a first down that would have iced it and end of Pittsburgh game we got stopped.
Yes, certain situations sure put him in. However this is a contract year for Marcus and he will want to continue to focus on DB/pibt returner. As he will likely be in line for a lucrative extension as Vrabel loves him. Henderson needs to continue to get all the looks in that role as a rookie this is invaluable experience he's gaining in the role.

Pick your poison. Gonna be tough to defend this team.
We need to find a way to keep up and make a few Defensive stops. I think we can score on them: Maye needs to remind Buffalo that he's the younger Josh Allen. I know one of the last things Buffo wants to see is New England with a very good QB. Get your popcorns ready.

Exactly keep Marcus Jones on Defense and ST's: play Kyle Williams more.
Yes.. pop warner is now a rotation player.. k. Williams will see more on offense. I'm feeling like the Drake to Diggs connection is beginning to really take shape...

You have to limit cook. I will keep saying this. Cook is the key element to Buffalo offense. Limit cook and put gonzo on the pass catching TE.

Bills will cover
I don't think we're kissing Josh Allen's rings Sunday night... oh wait wrong player.

The Pats offense thus far is all on film for defenses to break down and take elements away if possible.

Marcus Jones being absent from the offensive film causes defenses to react slower because they have not prepared for him. They usually react slower because they have to think about what is occurring. Furthermore, it would be just 1 more twist in the NE offense that teams down the schedule would need to spend time looking at it.

Stevenson's fumbling may not be done yet. I certainly expect defenses to go after him to get the ball loose.
Marcus on offense isn't going to suprise a defense. Remember whenever he was inserted on offense before teams knew pretty much what we were doing. Same thing with Buffalo. I understand what you're saying.. but I think we drafted Henderson exactly for what you and signbabybrady would like Marcus to do!

I'm not totally against it.. but it's not necessary right now. We have enough on offense to keep Buffalo defenders moving..

I was getting very impatient regarding that: glad they got cooking before this game. I think Josh will pull out all the stops. We haven't seen any trick plays on Offense yet.

When there's a great QB in his prime you have to pick that team.

So, take the pats

Sirrously... the last few games Drake has looked unbeatable. Our D is good and could be on its way to very good (though sadly, I don't think "great").

I'm just surprised a guy with his Quickness can't find the hole in the zones. I'm glad Maye doesn't like throwing to him: nothing good comes from it. Zero catch radius and clueless when running routes: a recipe for an Int.
It's not quickness that lets you find the zone holes, it's smarts, awareness. Pop just doesn't get it. He'll be better when he finds his way to KC's sandlot offense - just run around 'til Kermit finds you.

Nobody since Jones is already active.

Stevenson, Henderson and Gibson sit out plays every game.
The point was that if Marcus comes in on offense, what player in that play formation would be sat down. I understand you to say a running back.

Jeanty - 19 carries 38 yards 2 ypc
Achanae - 11/30/2.7
Warren - 18/47/2.6
Hubbard - 10/49/4.9

Pats run D has been excellent but so has James Cook

Week 1 - 13/44/3.4
Week 2 - 21/132/6.3
Week 3 - 19/108/5.7
Week 4 - 22/117/5.3

Will be the Pats toughest test yet. I wouldn't mind putting 8 in the box and daring Buffalo to beat us deep. Our high paid/drafted corners need to earn their keep.

I stated way back in this thread, maybe page 2 that stopping Cook was key. As I stated then, our run D numbers are good, but I think they are a little misleading. We started off getting run on pretty easily early in all games, but the teams kinda went away from the run. Hubbard was running on us very easily and then the Panthers went with Dowdle for a long stretch, perhaps Hubbard got banged up.

So our D has been good on paper for sure, but it certainly seemed there were stretches where we getting run on easily in all our games, to me anyway,

It’s funny - when I visited this forum the first couple weeks of the season, it was all doom and gloom. People were talking about having a losing record and draft position.

All of a sudden the Patriots beat the Panthers and everyone forgets every problem.

Yes, our run D will actually be tested - both Cook & Allen.
We've faced nothing even close to that yet.
I want to see more Gibbens & Dugger

And our pass D will also be tested in ways we haven't yet. I'm glad Gonzo got warmed up last week. But our Safeties are going to have to be much better in pass coverage. And edge guys are going to HAVE to be more disciplined.

I'll allow a moral victory this week. Not expecting the Pats to win, but if they're competitive and keep it within a score or two, I'll be accepting of a loss. All aboard the hype train if they somehow pull off a W.

I think this will be a keep up game; also which Team makes that critical mistake. Buffalo have face two potent Offense so far and both games could have went either way. I am talking the Ravens Game 1 and Miami over a week ago. IF our RB's holds onto the Football we are in business; our RB's can also catch. They're going have to worry about Maye who's a double threat; He should burn them with his feet if they choose to blitz often. I hope McDaniels dials up those Playaction to our TE's and WR's in this one. I'm going climaxe if Kyle Williams catches a 40 yard bomb.
