Pats aren't a dominating running team. They won't be able to really take advantage of the Bills poor run D.
They will need to throw to set up the run.
If.. we get AJ Brown as it seems to be gaining steam.. that emphatically opens up the running game..

Can you elaborate on the “gaining steam”? I haven’t read anything that suggests he would be traded.
For clarification purposes the trade proposal aspects are gaining steam... I wanted to clear my post with that. nothing concrete asof now.. AJ has 150 yards receiving... in 4 games.. he's not being used in Philly.

Diggs gets his first tuddy Sunday night.

According to the wisdom of the Markets, Pats solidly middle-of-the-pack (disfavored by 0.4 points against a League average opponent).

A sneakily good move that may be able to make a huge difference is Dugger being inserted back into the starting Safety position. Dugger is an excellent Safety against the run.. this will allow Woodson to play more to his strengths in wich he did in college. This will help with the edges where cook likes to go.

I agree load the box to make sure cook doesn't get busy

I watched some Cook runs and had to check that I wasn't watching on 1.5x speed. Not so much the straight-ahead speed - it's more the opponents trying to tackle where he previously was.

It isn't gaining steam. The Eagles are downplaying there are any issues and they aren't trading Brown unless they are eliminated from the playoffs before the trade deadline (not happening) or the relationship goes so nuclear that they have no choice but trade him (and do we really want a guy like that?).

I know. I revised my post. It was just about the trade proposals. Something is amiss with AJ and the eagles.. so it wouldn't be a supsrise if he moved on.

150 yards in 4 games.. I have cousins in the Philadelphia area big eagles fans... they say he's been a big humanitarian in the inner Philadelphia area and well respected off the field.

At safety Dugger.. played well and seemingly is returning to form from the ankle.. we need Dugger especially against the edges. His strength is against the run. I've seen enough of Hawkins masquerading as a starter. We need to seal the edges where cook likes to run. You slow cook you hamper Buffalo offense.

That snow ball is fake.

I still havent found where " Bills Mafia" is on these things.

I think it's stitched into the inside of the collar. We have "We are all Patriots" stitched into ours.

I don't think the Pats will win this game. But, if they do win this game and stay healthy the rest of the year, they are 100% in the playoffs are they not? I mean considering their schedule if they can steal one of the Buffalo games, i don't see how they stay out as long as they don't lose any key guys.

This one will be hard to win but they have a decent shot at stealing one back in Foxboro. They also have to avoid the trap game, even the best Patriots teams over the years had one game in the season where you're scratching your head wondering how they lost that one.

It’s such a week to week league (Browns beat GB…etc), so one would like to think if we beat Buffalo we should have an inside track to the postseason, but strange things happen.

If they pull off the upset, get ready for the national media to start asking the question for them to be an AFC contender like they were at 9-4 in 2021.
