”Baseketball” was ahead of it's time with the entire team celebrations. I’ve seen some funny YouTube videos of refs celebrating with players.

Now that I think about it, late 90’s Pats secondaries would all dance around after an INT.

Spontaneous reactions are great...coordinated jailhouse style poses in the end zone are dumb. Even most of the offensive coordinated celebrations are, in most cases, humorous.

I'm guessing it was type casting. The part called for an obnoxious know it all type. Gronk wouldn't fit as an officious richard telling people when they should or shouldn't do their laundry but old Paidaton is the guy for that no doubt.
