Campbell is a great LT, but playing Campbell at LG is not ridiculous. Sorry. Campbell could be one of the greatest LGs of all time. Campbell might be perfect at LG. I know I will get murdered for this, but Campbell might be the closest to Hannah at LG as the NFL has seen. If we could draft a dominant LT in 2026 and move Campbell to LG, we would have one of the most dominant left sides EVER for 10 years. I am a BPA guy, but if a dominant R1 selection at LT is available in 2026, pushing Campbell to LG, that should get you excited.
I think this is one can we kick down the road. I think Campbell is going to be a serviceable-to-good LT. He needs to work on the inside stunts. But with a halfway decent line going into the 2026 draft, we have much bigger needs still: WR, LB, S, CB. If we get to a decent roster and there's a good LT prospect falling to us, that's when I'd think about taking that shot.

Every NFL team is always looking to improve at every position if possible. So yes, if Anthony Munoz fell to us in the draft, any team would be silly not to entertain that. However I don’t see any indication that would lead me to believe Campbell can’t be a very good LT.

This Carolina team is not good. We need to win this one, if only for dignity. These are the kind of games we have to win if we have any chance of even becoming just an average team.

I agree with most of that, but the OL will continue to be a large need. Onwenu's contract is overpriced so it is likely this is his last year. Bradbury is on borrowed time. Moses might be past the expiration date. There is a lot of work to do on the OL.

Good point. I think I just meant that hopefully there's no position of need so bad that we'll need to use the first round on a set position, like we did this last draft.

Whichever CB Leggette makes a play on, cut them DURING the game..
Has he practiced Leggette that is?? Also don't think it's fair to judge a WR with Bryce Young.

Guards are not hard to find if you do your homework. We might have a future RT Starter in Marcus Bryant: they're are bringing him along slowly. Hope corpse Moses holds up; but not holding my breath on that one.

Who else would be shocked if the Pats lose this game to the Panthers and a 3rd straight at home?

With their Defense and are turnover issues as of late.
Expecting a loss but would be thrilled with a win.
Going 500 this stretch in the season would be huge.

A convincing win going away would be big, but we need Gonzo to make plays and Henderson to find the holes.

Also I keep hoping this is the week we bring in Chaim who seems like he would be a excellent security blanket.

For sure. I’ve been saying the past couple weeks we need more deep shots. If you don’t threaten the deep 3rd of the field, Ds shrink their coverage and crowd the underneath stuff. Exactly what we saw when Mac was here. Gotta give Williams or even Diggs some shots.
Our O is playing pretty well, but we need to integrate Williams more.
If we can make Ds respect the deep threat, our O could really take off imho
I'm curious if they move Douglas from the slot over to Z. Let him run a few basic deep routes a few times a game. He's fast enough to get deep and if he's wide open, it won't really matter that he's short. Less chance of him running the wrong route if he's working from a very limited route tree.

Have you seen the latest Panthers injury report?? They will probably ask people in the stands to sub in as backup players. This game would be a laugher for a better than average Team. This would be nice easy game before Buffalo. We'll see what this Team is really made of.

Updated:

Our boy is up there with the likes of Lane Johnson, Charles Cross & even surpassing Trent Williams & Joe Alt. Good company to be in.

True or not I saw a stat that listed average yds of separation for WRs this year, and Pop was #1 at 4.something yds of separation. I don’t remember where I saw it.

Have we ever run Pop Douglas on a Nine route??

One of the reasons I'm lukewarm about McDaniels back as our OC.
