I liked the post for the Tonga part; then re-read that Wilson now „out“. ???

Which is it? He was hurt, then they said he was at practice, now out
I am guessing he trended up today but wasn't really that healthy overall and they felt it was safer to give him another week and go with Brown instead. Would rather have him at 100% for the Bills.

I think Vrabel is giving everyone on the team a fresh start with him. Everything builds from here. So if Rham continues to put the ball on the ground, the consequences grow. But he's not going to hold Rham to what happened when Mayo was in charge.
Makes sense. Maye had an INT problem last year too. Not as bad this year, at least not by my eye test. Some INTs but not boneheaded ones.

Wrs are open plenty.
Elaborate please...

Weirdly enough he has become a true "three down back". Never would have expected that a couple years ago when he was struggling to catch the ball. IF he can fix his ball security (big if), he's an asset for sure.
Two hands around the football with him from now on. No more one handed carry.

Well atleast Vrabel shares our feelings on J Dobbs: Hof HC in making.

This is actually a pretty insightful message from the HC. And it has merit. You bench Stevenson for two turnovers, so who starts? Gibson? He also fumbled in that game. The QB had two turnovers too, is he getting benched? Obviously not.
That is how I feel, if we bench Mondre then why not Maye. Before you hit me with because last year, look at Maye last year. They are equally guilty.

Sure, but not the point needing correction. He didn't let free rushers in to cause Maye to get sacked. He can't hold on to the ball.
Right. I do not think it would be wise to "punish" him for fumbling because he brings other skills to the team. Limit his carries sure but benching him would be a mistake.

I mean it's easy to understand his point.

But at the same time they aren't in the same place as it relates to this problem and there's obviously a difference between QB and RB too.

Benching I guess is a little harsh and not how Vrabel is going to play it but you can't bury your head in the sand either.

Hopefully they have some coaching points for both of them. Holding the ball higher, anticipating when the play is over, or whatever.

I think this is one can we kick down the road. I think Campbell is going to be a serviceable-to-good LT. He needs to work on the inside stunts. But with a halfway decent line going into the 2026 draft, we have much bigger needs still: WR, LB, S, CB. If we get to a decent roster and there's a good LT prospect falling to us, that's when I'd think about taking that shot.
I see two (Campbell and Wilson) starting lineman here for the long haul. The other 3 are question marks going forward. RT I consider a need and wouldn't mind giving him a year to learn behind Moses if we draft the guy in the second or third round. Same thing at guard and center, although I would try and draft them a little later.

Aside from the first play where he had Hollins wide open for a TD, Maye had the correct read on every other play. He ended throwing an INT in the end zone later. Very costly misread.

The Boutte TD in Miami was just a precision throw and great catch. I would've gone with the easy quick hitter to Douglas at 1:18.

Drake maye completion percentage

Wrs are open plenty
Catching a 3 yard pass on 3rd and 8 helps the completion percentage but not the team. Pats need to threaten intermediate and deep parts of the field and make the defense defend a larger area to get the offense humming.

You can't do that against a cover 2 or cover 3. Receivers are open.
