Argh.. so that mean Lil Marcus and father time.. j. Jones will be giving up more plays..
Winning this game does nothing for us it's already over. We lose we are in the running for number 1 - 2 or 3 in the First round. The Third Selection have been good to us: I don't want us to win and end up with eight overall selection in this cluster crap of bad AFC Teams.

No wonder mayo seem like he don't care.. becuase winning hurts the draft position.. even if this team is trying to win they are so bad everywhere. Schooler may be our best safety right now. Go figure that! I like the kool-aid draft prospect at CB.

Gonzo is phenomenal even hurt playing on one leg yesterday he still limited hill.. yeah Marcus Hobbs is an all pro returner but a rotational slot CB at best.. where myles away when you need him..

He is setting up his music career instead.

A College walk-on Waterboy could make our Team...Happy Gilmore.

Don't blame him one bit... life after football. It might come sooner rather than later for him: don't think he gets' a second contract here.

Becuase of his return abilities and can play on offense.. generous wolfy will offer him a deal.

I don't know if I even want to watch anymore?

As bad as the product sucked last year, I never ever felt like I didn't want to watch. The team always felt like they were giving their best effort and I was there to support them even though they weren't good. Never a doubt that I'd want to watch every game.

This year, at this stage, it feels like the only guy out there who gives a **** is Drake Maye and maybe a very small handful of other guys. Everyone else seems to be mailing it in, including the coaches. And if they don't care, why should I care?

Feels bad but hard to find the motivation to invest my weekends in this right now.

Why not? You need a returner and a spot offensive player.
Spot offensive player don't we have enough of those on Offense already!! Enough is enough arch.

The ONLY reason I'm interested in this disaster is to see if Maye can rise above the mess and offer hope.

We just have hope that Drake Maye doesn't get carted off before seasons end. I hope we fakes a season ending injury to keep my mind at ease: we know what he can do. Let Brissett get the $hi!t beat out of him behind that OL.

Phil Perry said that the team is all in on Mayo for the long term. Don't expect him to get fired at the end of the season. Or even at the end of the next.
Of course the players are all in. They are getting paid, Mayo doesn’t stress them at all, they can play basketball and ride a bike in the locker room when they are burned out by short meetings. This team feels like a holiday camp.

By "team" I meant management/ownership.

Anyone else going? Down to get a beer with whoever if I get a minute

After MIA there's no reason to think we can go on a mini run to end the season, but it sure would be nice to see the basic football operation look more professional.
Mayo blamed the defensive communication as the problem. Okay, so maybe have a DC who knows how to coordinate that, and who knows how to make adjustments between possessions, not waiting until half-time when games are over.
We just have a lot of dumb players (and coaches) right now. And that doesn't change quickly.

I wonder if our old buddy Gregg Doyel will keep crying about Deflategate this week. Lol

Eh Maye alone is worth the time to watch imo. Gonna be hunting for rookie cards after the season.
