Polk still have Nine more games to prove himself.
Exactly, too small a sample size after 7 games, 5 of which were with Jacoby and different OL every week. He's never gonna be the type who can beat the opponent's #1 corner man to man, but that was a given. He can be a solid physical possession receiver. Separation stats are a joke imo. YAC isn't but he'll improve that.

That's the hope for Polk... Keon Coleman is having a nice Rookie season in Buffalo is kinda making me sick. I was really nervous about us drafting him looking at our history with those type of WR's. I am glad he's proving me wrong.

What are actual protocol steps? Wish we even heard about concussions back in the olden days of horse and buggy

The thing about this concussion is that a few years ago we wouldn't even have a clue anything happened. He would have never even missed a snap.

That's not to complain about the protocol they obviously had to get more proactive but I'm also not going to get nervous about something we never would've known about.

I dunno, the fact he was hit on the back of the head is worrisome. It's rare to be contacted there by another helmet like in Maye's case, but it's common from hitting your head on the ground falling backward. I'm no doctor but it seems more severe than getting hit in the forehead area. If he does play this weekend or the following, the coaches better make him swear to forego the yardage and get down.

Probably something going back to cromagnom man where the front of the skull is thicker.

I'm not going to argue your point hits to the back of the head very likely could be more concerning.

I'm just saying he didn't get knocked out of those weird arm movement things and without the protocol we wouldn't ever have known about it so I'm choosing to turn a blind eye until there is more to be concerned about.

I mean Brady probably had more of a concussion from this one and I never once worried about Tom's head.

One things for certain Mayo loves the Drake.

Are we sure Maye don't have lingering symptoms?? Was that deep pass to Bourne yuck.

I liked the Chris Berman names.
Temple Bethel Johnson
Christian Eufauria
Troy Brown Band Renown
The best Chris Berman nickname ever was WR Michael “Heeheee” Jackson.
