And the rumor was Slow Polk can't separate, he definitely separated himself from the rest there.

Wow!

That is bad.

I was looking for Pats players and saw Osborn.

Polk was so far out of the group that I missed him the first time.

Seems like it’s trending toward Levis at QB and potentially a handful of other important players out

Looks like things are heading towards Maye playing.
Personally, I'd sit him a week.
We know a second concussion is more likely within a short time frame after you have 1.
The long-term implications are also worse when you get a second one shortly after the first.
Just seems a useless risk for a pretty meaningless game in the long run.

Under any circumstance he shouldn't play if he isn't ready. If he is ready there is experience to gain by going through the process to get back out on the field. He needs to learn how to be available through NFL level hits and injuries if he is to going to become a reliable QB. When he does play, lets hope that he uses this situation as a teaching moment for running more defensively. He needs to be less aggressive once he has the first down. Those extra yards are not worth the risk.

I agree he should play the rest of the year, just not this week. Just from a risk perspective the first week after a concussion has a higher risk of re-concussing. Yeah, odds are low that happens but why take that risk with your franchise QB for the next 15 years when you can wait a week and reduce that risk.

That all makes sense and I agree for the most part. I am only trying to show that there are some benefits to offset the obvious risk of having him play. Maye playing would send a strong message to the rest of the team. Personally, I hope there is an 11th hour technicality in the protocol that makes him skip a week after going through the prep process.

If he’s cleared by the leagues independent doctor that gives the final say than he should absolutely play.

He wasn't even concussed just shady NYNFL stuff

We dont know that he had a concussion. We only know he is in the concussion protocol. They could have put him in the protocol because he might have had a concussion, even if he didn't have one.

We don't know that he wasn't concussed either. Plenty of games guys go to tent with head hits and come right back and play so they saw something that might lead to a concussion diagnoses. Obviously if he was never concussed and the Patriots know that then my point on not playing him is moot.

We do know that he was entered by the observers into and passed a very thorough and conservative independent protocol. I see no need to be conservative on top of conservative. I believe the independent medical community.

So is Maye playing or what? When do we find out? I'll watch Maye. Brissett not so much

Damn. Gets 11 points on the last 2 drives to win the game for them in relief, and you're back to ****ting on him already.

I’m really skeptical that the Titans have 4 players who missed every practice this week yet are game time decisions. Players who don’t practice at all in a given week are inactive what, like 98% of the time?

CB Sneed and RB Spears rules out for Tennessee.
