Can't blame the fans for being frustrated, Rivers prime years have been wasted.
I don't care that they have a 2 score lead right now, I have no confidence in the ****ing Chargers to beat the Ravens.
Almost every single week the Broncos and Ravens have teased us that they'd lose but always end up being able to take advantage of the awful teams that inevitably choke it up against them. I feel as if the Chargers (the Cowboys of the AFC) will find a way to **** this up. Something to the tune of Rivers, instead of taking a sack, will try to get rid of the ball, end up fumbling and the Ravens get a defensive score.
Hopefully I'm wrong.
See post #224.
A fair point, but if you consider that this is one of his first starts, he is doing pretty well. Upgrade from Alex Smith, Imo.
I'm addicted to this red zone thing now...just fantastic
I do agree that Rivers is in his prime though as I don't see him getting any better.
Eh I think Rivers' best days are behind him. There was a time where I'd have him right outside the elite tier of QB's with Big Ben and some others but right now I don't think he's even top 10.
Rivers isn't decisive. When he makes quick decisions and moves the ball he's a good QB. When he holds the ball waiting for the perfect play to develop (which is almost every time he has the football) he's horrendous.Eh I think Rivers' best days are behind him. There was a time where I'd have him right outside the elite tier of QB's with Big Ben and some others but right now I don't think he's even top 10.
