Unfortunate timing to have an all-injured RB corps.I don't really think they will, not on the super-short week. Play enough to get ahead, and then shut it down, keep people healthy.

I'm hearing Joe Burrow is practicing... should be a nice dual. The Bengals will find a way to lose in the end. What do you think about next week at Bengals? Gonzo on tree top catch Higgins, and...double Catch me if you can chase?
He is, but he's not playing until Thanksgiving.I'm hearing Joe Burrow is practicing... should be a nice dual. The Bengals will find a way to lose in the end.
Twin: I'm hearing Steven A say the Patriots have Three Bye-Weeks opponents coming up.What do you think about next week at Bengals? Gonzo on tree top catch Higgins, and...double Catch me if you can chase?
I hear you and I agree... If there's a trap game on this schedule, this is it.Each week we keep hearing trap game.. this team with Vrabel at HC IMO is untrappable.. remember this guy...last season on the sidelines..
This game will tell us a lot about how well coached this team is. I'll be disappointed if they come out flat and lose it or almost lose it because they didn't take this game seriously.I hear you and I agree... If there's a trap game on this schedule, this is it.
I can't recall them getting "trapped" during the dynastic years, save for the 2004 Miami game and the Miracle in Miami.
It's crazy how he hasn't had 300yds Game but is in the running for MVP. Dude is barely scratching the surface. It would be great if they kept their foot on the pedal and Maye gets his first 300 yard game and at least 4 td's .
Jets? Credible? They could have five first round picks and they’d screw it upI'll be watching this game closely because Breece Hall is my #1 FA target this off season. He will be costly (for a RB), but a RB room of Hall, Stevenson, Henderson and Gibson, or draft pick would be deep and formidable coming at defenses in waves.
I doubt very much he is going to re-sign with the Jete, even with all their picks, they are at LEAST 2 years away from being credible, with a QB ready to lead a team to a division title, even if they manage to hit on a good choice. 2 years is a lifetime to a RB. They have short lifetimes to begin with. Hopefully he will want to stay on the east coast with a team that will be a consistent contender for rest of his productive career.
Good points Steve.. the Miami miracle as we all know the game was in hand & lost because of lack of focus.. on the final playof the game..yeah.. we lost 2 games in 2004.. from the bowels of the NFL of were this teams been past few years.. Vrabel is keeping them sharply focused.. you can even see it and sense it with the players interviews yesterday..I hear you and I agree... If there's a trap game on this schedule, this is it.

Love Steven A.. also why would the Jets even want to win anymore games.. they already showed thier hands by trading away 2 of thier best players...Twin: I'm hearing Steven A say the Patriots have Three Bye-Weeks opponents coming up.
Yeah.. his practice window is open now.. so a ramp up period.. be good if we don't have to face him..I'm hearing Joe Burrow is practicing... should be a nice dual. The Bengals will find a way to lose in the end.
Remember 2001 Brady didn't have alot of 300 yards games either..It's crazy how he hasn't had 300yds Game but is in the running for MVP. Dude is barely scratching the surface.
It's entirely possible they come out 'flat', because they just played in an energy-drainer on the road against a good team. The turnaround in 3 days, I have no idea how anyone's going to be rehydrated enough in time, never mind physically recovered enough. This game will tell us a lot about how well coached this team is. I'll be disappointed if they come out flat and lose it or almost lose it because they didn't take this game seriously.
And I thought our Byeweek was later in the Season.Love Steven A.. also why would the Jets even want to win anymore games.. they already showed thier hands by trading away 2 of thier best players...
Both teams played Sunday.. so they are on equal footing.. to your point we are the better team and it's not even close.. to get to where they want to get to.. It’s a grind and they should win and want to get to the mini bye feeling good not after a loss. This game will tell us a lot about how well coached this team is. I'll be disappointed if they come out flat and lose it or almost lose it because they didn't take this game seriously.
I tried with you, my dude, I really did. But you're a one-trick pony now. Hope you figure it out and get better.
Funny commentary from the coaching doesn't matter crowd
The official bye week is week 14 for us..And I thought our Byeweek was later in the Season.
You can say that again: this game is just too physical for that quick turnaround. It's entirely possible they come out 'flat', because they just played in an energy-drainer on the road against a good team. The turnaround in 3 days, I have no idea how anyone's going to be rehydrated enough in time, never mind physically recovered enough.
These Thursday games are ****ing ******ed, and they're awful every week.
