I'll be watching this game closely because Breece Hall is my #1 FA target this off season. He will be costly (for a RB), but a RB room of Hall, Stevenson, Henderson and Gibson, or draft pick would be deep and formidable coming at defenses in waves.

I doubt very much he is going to re-sign with the Jete, even with all their picks, they are at LEAST 2 years away from being credible, with a QB ready to lead a team to a division title, even if they manage to hit on a good choice. 2 years is a lifetime to a RB. They have short lifetimes to begin with. Hopefully he will want to stay on the east coast with a team that will be a consistent contender for rest of his productive career.

I think odds of Hall making free agency are close to zero. Worst case they franchise him and then they either pay the $14 million for a year or turn around and trade him outside the division.

It will depend how lenient the Pats are with their ailing stars. If they treat this like a preseason game, it could be close & ugly.
If they keep their foot on the pedal, we should be able to put our backups in the 3rd qtr.
THIS is the test for this young team.

Effort, focus, and discipline. Those are the keys to THUR night crapfests. A close won game against a top team in their rearview. Everyone anointing them. Hard for them to not start thinking they can simply "show up".

A 12-9 field goal battle with multiple turnovers per team would not shock me...but neither would a 38-35 track meet.

THU = stupid so nothing is off the table.

It is hard to talk about this game in any way really. There isn't much analysis to be done. They recently lost arguably their 3 most important players. 2 to trade and 1 to a 3-4 week injury. Who on the Jets is a legit threat to do much of anything right now? Sure, they are still NFL players, but the lack of talent on the roster right now is shocking.'

Who will be catching passes for them exactly? A bunch of 3s and 4s. Their QB Fields is clearly mid back up level. Our back up Dobbs is arguably better... in fact, probably better. Let that sink in.

Yeah they have Breece Hall, but he is no Barry Sanders and we are good at stop RBs, particularly when we can key on them. Their OL is either young or untalented at the moment depending on the spot. They are mid on their best day.

This offense has nothing going for it outside of Hall who is not a true game wrecker anyway like Taylor, McCaffrey or Robinson for example. He is good, but not ruin your day alone good.

The defense has a little something but not much without Williams and Gardner gone. Quincy Williams is still good. Johnson still needs some respect. McDonald isn't bad either. They have some pass rush ability. That could potentially be a problem. But what else? I don't think their true LB unit or DBs right now are good.

So basically stop Hall on offense, slow down the good but not over whelming pass rush on offense. That's it.

And look out for their return game. (Their kicker is reliable, but FGs won't beat you btw).

That's pretty much is all there is to say. It is 3 things you need to look out for and you can key on each.. Practice kick off returns twice as much this week. Without some help there we may well shut them out (outside of the first drive i mean).

The Jete should be the first team in the Savannah Bananas football league when that starts up. lol

Bradbury being on the injury report might be a chance to try to improve the inside run blocking which has been league worst.
I know he's a savvy vet, but he's notably undersized and gets consistently pushed around in the run game.
That can't be ignored. One thing Ben Brown is not - is small or weak.
Just saying, this Jets game should be a chance to grind out a win with some backups - and getting Jennings more time to not overtax Hendo would be good.

The only thing they do well, we are almost historically good at defending. Seems like it would take a massive letdown for this to even be close. But it is a Thursday night game so…
And from milt Williams standards he felt they let up on some runs against TB. Probably no Barmore I still expect the defensive line to bottle up Hall.

You have to Trap with natural talent or bait this current Jets Team have no neither. Walkthrough this week in practice should be fun.Breece Hall alone can't beat us.

For weeks I been hearing trap game...

Not without Sauce and Q Williams: compared to Atlanta and Tampa Defenses. Maye will view this as a walk in the park. The Pats are the Best Bet this week: bet the house.
