I haven’t intricately followed them this year, (not that I ever do) but they seem to be a handful; very underrated. As the week goes on, I’m starting to love this matchup; not due to any over confidence, but from a competitive standpoint. Even though TEN may not be as “good” as a team like BAL or KC, they present as an excellent precursor to well-balanced team like BAL for NE. Obviously, there is only one Lamar Jackson; but TEN is a physical smash mouth run based offense, with 2-3 capable TEs (a lot of 11/12 personnel), a nice crop of dynamic WRs, coaching familiarity, solid veteran QB, and a defense that can cause some problems. Thus, the reason I feel like if we win vs TEN, we’ll be in good shape. Also, I read/heard somewhere that TEN kicking (Not Punter) game isn’t as consistent as they’d like. Let’s see how the team responds to such a challenge
He’s going to win and talk a little trash about his critics.
I always felt as though he was overrated by many. He would’ve made a great 3rd down back, but they had that position covered at a much cheaper cost. I think he’s a bit small to be an every down back. Was just watching the highlights from the 2017 matchups vs the Titans. Man Dion Lewis was soooo good. Why has he sucked so much with the Titans?
Isn’t it amazing that the 2 QBs who spent the most time in the AFC east all decade (excluding Brady) where they playthe Pats twice a year, would be the ones who have the most wins against the Patriots? That’s crazy talk.
FWIW..I was listening to today's Patriots Unfiltered and their kicker is 9/9 on extra points this year but hasn't attempted any field goal attempts. "The google" is saying he joined the team before the start of week 16.
Kicker Greg Joseph, who hasn't been tested with a single field goal try since taking over as Tennessee's fourth kicker of the season. I can't think of a team that entered the postseason using a kicker who didn't have a field goal attempt on record during the regular season, but Titans fans will probably take their chances with the 2018 Browns starter. The combination of Cody Parkey, Cairo Santos and Ryan Succop went just 8-of-18 on field goals this season, costing the Titans 15 points of field position.
Yeah, this is unfortunately how I feel. I’ll be very into the game, and it will be lingering in the back of my mind. And if we start losing, that is exactly where my mind will go.To be honest I'm not sure i'll be able to compartmentalize the two.
I remember the last Celtics game Bird played in. It was a playoff loss vs the Cavs. I recall being into the game in the 1st 1/2 but when CLE started to pull away I pretty much thought about Larry. Everyone knew he was done.
Human nature.Yeah, this is unfortunately how I feel. I’ll be very into the game, and it will be lingering in the back of my mind. And if we start losing, that is exactly where my mind will go.
The titans gave up 56 sacks this year. We need to take advantage of that and harass tannehill
